Devialet has introduced the Devialet Phantom Ultimate 98 dB – Pulse Blue, a new edition of its latest-generation Phantom speaker with a new finish. The edition arrives one year after the latest-generation Phantom was introduced and uses a blue finish previously explored as part of Devialet’s visual identity.
The Pulse Blue edition features redesigned side panels that change from matte to gloss, along with a mirror-polished surface. A clear varnish is applied to the deep RAL 5011 blue finish, while Devialet has also refined the logo to match the design. The edition also comes with a Tree Phantom Ultimate 98 dB – Pulse Blue stand with a matching colour finish.
The campaign features Devialet Global Brand Ambassador Isack Hadjar, a Formula 1® driver for Oracle Red Bull Racing.
Devialet Phantom Ultimate 98 dB – Pulse Blue
The speaker supports high-fidelity audio reproduction from 18 Hz to 25 kHz (±6 dB), with output of up to 98 dB SPL. Its optimized audio chain supports files up to 24-bit/192 kHz and, according to Devialet, preserves the original recording without distortion or saturation.
The Cospherical Architecture uses a dedicated full-range driver to broaden the acoustic field, while the speaker supports solo, stereo, and multi-room configurations. In stereo, it separates the left and right channels to provide greater depth, precision, and dynamic range.
Devialet combines a latest-generation processor with several patented technologies:
- ADH New-Gen® (Analog Digital Hybrid): Combines Class A analog amplification with Class D digital amplification.
- SAM® (Speaker Active Matching): Adapts the signal to the drivers in real time.
- HBI® (Heart Bass Implosion): Uses an acoustic architecture for bass reproduction down to 18 Hz.
- AVL™ (Adaptive Volume Level): Dynamically adjusts volume according to the content.
For software and streaming, the DOS 3 architecture brings Devialet products together under a single interface and supports AirPlay, Google Cast, Roon Ready, Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, Qobuz Connect, and UPnP.
The Devialet app acts as the control hub with Music, Podcast, Cinema, and Neutral audio modes, as well as a 6-band equalizer for frequency adjustments. It also includes Bass Reducer for low-frequency intensity control and Loudness for acoustic compensation at lower volumes, along with direct access to software updates.
