Xolo has unveiled Q1000s Plus, successor of last year’s Q1000s smartphone. The design is similar to the Q1000s, it is powered by the same 1.5 GHz quad-core MediaTek 6589T processor and features the same 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. It has 5-inch 1080p display based on OGS technology and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean).
Samsung Galaxy K zoom has got a price cut in India and is available for Rs. 19,999 on Amazon in India. It was launched in India last month for Rs. 29,999 last month, exclusively on Amazon. It is surprising that it has received Rs. 10,000 price cut in a month after its launch. Samsung would launch the Galaxy S5 Mini in India soon, exclusively on Flipkart. Gionne GPad G5, successor of the GPad G4 and the and CTRL V4S, an upgraded version of the CTRL V4 have been listed on the official website. The Gionee Gpad G5 is powered by a 1.5 Hexa-Core processor, otherwise most of the specifications have been downgraded compared to the GPad G4. It has a 5.5-inch 720p display. The CTRL V4S has the same 4.5-inch FWVA display, similar to the CTRL V4, but this has a faster 1.3 GHz quad-core processor and has 1GB RAM. Xiaomi reduced the price of the Redmi 1S to Rs. 5,999 and announced that it would go on sale on September 2nd. Xiaomi entered India with the Mi 3 smartphone last month. At the launch the company showcased several products, including the Mi Power Banks that come in 5200mAh and 10400mAh variants. These got priced on Flipkart few weeks back at Rs. 799 and Rs. 999, respectively and is went on pre-order recently. Samsung has launched the NX Mini Smart Camera in India on Amazon. It is the world’s slimmest and lightest interchangeable-lens camera, says Samsung. It was announced back in March and has a new 20.5 Megapixel BSI-CMOS sensor for crisp and better low-light images. It also has NFC and Wi-Fi capabilities. Samsung has also launched NX-M 9mm F3.5 ED lens and NX-M9-27mm F3.5-5.6 ED OIS lens. These are light-weight lenses that goes with the NX mini.
