50,000 Xiaomi Redmi Note smartphones went on sale on December 2nd, and it sold out in 6 seconds in the first flash sale. The company has announced that 75,000 Redmi Note smartphones would be available for sale on second flash sale today on Flipkart at 2PM. Xiaomi Redmi 1S smartphones went on sale again on Flipkart yesterday without registration. The company said that the the sale will last till the stocks are over. Xiaomi Redmi Note went on sale earlier this week on December 2nd, and it sold out in 6 seconds in the first flash sale. Xiaomi usually stops selling the earlier models temporarily to concentrate more on the new model. Now the company has decided to bring back the Redmi 1S, at least for a day. Xiaomi reduced the price of the Redmi Note to Rs. 8,999 and announced that it will go on sale in India on Flipkart on December 2nd. Today the company has announced that 50,000 units of Redmi Note smartphones will be available for purchase in the first batch of sales next Tuesday at 2PM. 40,000 Redmi 1S smartphones went on sale on the smartphone’s first sale on September 2nd. Few weeks after launching 16000mAh Mi Bank, Xiaomi has introduced a 5000mAh portable power bank with just 9.9mm thickness. It is compact, weighs 156 grams and fits easily even in your shirt pocket, says Xiaomi. It has the same brushed aluminium finish on the outside, similar to the other Mi Power banks and is designed by Texas Instruments. It has 9 circuit protection and offers enhanced charge-discharge efficiency.  Xiaomi promises 93% charging conversion rate for the power bank.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G with Snapdragon 400 SoC announced in India for Rs. 9999, available late December

At the Xiaomi Redmi Note launch event, the company has announced that the Redmi Note 4G would be launching in India soon. This has support for TD-LTE 2300MHz (Band 40) and FDD-LTE 1800MHz (Band 3) for India and is powered by a 1.6GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 SoC, instead of Octa-Core MediaTek chip in the 3G variant. This has single SIM support, unlike the dual SIM 3G variant.  It comes pre-loaded with Fleksy and SwiftKey keyboards. Xiaomi Redmi Note to go on sale on Flipkart on December 2nd for Rs. 8999

Mi India announced the Redmi Note smartphone in India at the Mi 3 launch event back in July. Today at an event in Delhi, the company has announced that the smartphone would go on sale at Rs. 8999 on Flipkart starting December 2nd. It would be a flash sale similar to the Mi 3 and the Redmi 1S, and the registrations for the sale would begin tomorrow, November 25th at 6PM. This is Rs. 1,000 lesser than the price Xiaomi announced last month, just like it did for the Mi3 and the Redmi 1S smartphones. There is a separate chartered plane to bring Redmi Note units later this week. This is the fourth time the company is bringing units from China to India using a chartered plane.
