Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro, Redmi 6 and Redmi 6A get a limited-period price cut in India

Xiaomi has announced a price cuts for select models of Redmi 6 series phones – Redmi 6 Pro, Redmi 6 and Redmi 6A in India on Amazon, Flipkart and Mi.com for a limited period. This comes after the Redmi 6  and Redmi 6 Pro  received permanent price cuts last month, and the company started selling the Redmi 6A at the original launch price starting December. Xiaomi opens crowdfunding for Mi Sports Shoes 2 in India at Rs. 2499

After teasers, Xiaomi has opened crowdfunding for its Mi Men’s Sports Shoes 2 in India. Xiaomi says that it is created using Uni-Moulding process, is Shock-absorbent, has anti-slip design and is durable for machine wash. It was introduced in China last year as Mi Sport Sneakers 2.

Xiaomi Mi 9 with triple rear cameras spotted in the wild as the company confirms Snapdragon 855-powered flagship

Few days back Xiaomi’s product director posted a photo of a smartphone with triple rear cameras on weibo, before removing it. Some users have managed to download it. This will likely be the Mi 9, the company’s upcoming flagship. The image confirms vertical camera arrangement, similar to the predecessor, and this doesn’t have a rear-mounted sensor, so it will likely feature an in-display fingerprint scanner. Xiaomi teases launch of Mi Shoes in India soon

Xiaomi has been launch several lifestyle products in India. Last year it launched Mi Luggage, Travel Pillow and most recently it launched Anti-Pollution Mask and Mi Focus Cube Gold. Today is has posted a new teaser on its social channels with #BestFootForward hinting at the launch of its new Mi SportsShoes in India. It was introduced in China last year as Mi Sport Sneakers 2.

After a leak last week, Xiaomi has officially announced the Redmi Go, the company’s first Android Oreo (Go Edition) smartphone in Phillipines officially. It has a 5-inch HD screen, Snapdragon 425 SoC with 1GB of RAM, 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, 5-megapixel front camera, 4G LTE with dedicated SIM slots and a 3000mAh battery.

Xiaomi rolls out final MIUI 10.2 update for Redmi Note 3

Redmi 1S, Redmi Note/Prime, Redmi 2/Prime were the devices which redefined their respective price segments back in 2014-15 and helped Xiaomi becoming an established player in India but it was Redmi Note 3 that paved the way towards making company India’s No. 1 smartphone brand. The device is almost three years old now and so, Back in December, Xiaomi announced that MIUI 10.2 will be the last update for the devices including Redmi Note 3 and Mi 5. Last year, it dropped software support for some devices including Redmi 1S, Redmi Note 4GRedmi 2, Redmi 2 Prime, Mi 4i that were launched in 2015 or before. Xiaomi shows off dual-side foldable smartphone in official video
