Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 and Redmi Note 7 Pro MIUI 10 Beta testing to start soon

Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 7 and Redmi Note 7 Pro smartphones running on MIUI 10.2 based on Android 9.0 (Pie) in India on 28th February. The smartphone duo went on sale in India recently, and the company claimed that it sold over 2 lakh units within minutes during first Redmi Note 7 sale on 6th March.

Xiaomi has a tradition of involving users in Beta testing for their devices and in case you managed to purchase a Redmi Note 7 or Redmi Note 7 Pro in the flash sale and want to test MIUI updates before everyone else, there is good news for you as Xiaomi is looking for MIUI Global Beta ROM testers for these devices, you can apply here to be a part of the Beta testing team in case you’re interested.

Mi Community admin has not provided details regarding Beta testing but it will be safe to assume that the Beta testers will be amongst the first batch of users to get MIUI 11 which is expected to be announced in coming months.

Though the recruitment is open to all users, active members on Mi Community have an advantage over others, so if you have an active profile on Mi Community you should apply for it. Users are also supposed to install an instant messenger Telegram to discuss bugs with other testers and team. Deadline for applying for the above-mentioned devices is 9:00 PM, 22nd March, and users will be notified by 25th March regarding their selection.
