Samsung has launched Wave Y in India that runs on bada 2.0 OS. They announced the Wave Y last August along with Wave 3 and Wave M. It comes with a 3.2 inch (320 x 480 pixels) TFT LCD display and is powered by 832MHz processor. It features 2 MP Full focus camera. It is 12.3 mm thick and weighs 102.4g. Samsung GALAXY Ace Plus announced, 3.65-inch display and 1 GHz Processor

Samsung has unveiled GALAXY Ace Plus, successor of Samsung GALAXY Ace. It comes with 3.65-inch TFT display and is powered by 1 GHz Processor. It runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). It also comes with 5MP Auto Focus Camera with LED Flash, Samsung ChatON mobile communication service and ThinkFree document editing tool. Samsung Galaxy Note shipments exceed 1 million

Samsung has announced that they have shipped over 1 million units of the Galaxy Note globally since the launch in October this year, after the announcement on September in IFA. They have also said that the shipments are strong in the European countries such as France, Germany and are increasing steadily in Asian countries such as Hong Kong, Taiwan and the Note remains one of the top favorite phones among people. NTT Docomo to develop mobile phone chips with Samsung, Panasonic and others

Japan’s largest telecom operator NTT Docomo has announced that they have made an agreement with five companies, Fujitsu, Fujitsu Semiconductor, NEC Corporation, Panasonic Mobile Communications and Samsung Electronics to create a joint venture company by the end of March 2012 that would develop and sell semiconductor products for mobile devices. Samsung Omnia Taxi follows the Nokia Lumia Taxi

Nokia has been crazily promoting it’s Lumia handsets in India under the Amazing Everyday banner and I’m sure none of you might have missed the news (Even my mom knows about it !). Nokia launched the Lumia 800 and Lumia 710 in India. Nokia had offered Taxi rides and much more to early adopters and now looks like Samsung is following Nokia’s footsteps with the launch of it’s Omnia W Smartphone in the country. Samsung GALAXY Y DUOS and GALAXY Y Pro DUOS Dual SIM Android phones announced

Samsung has announced the GALAXY Y DUOS and GALAXY Y Pro DUOS. These are the Dual SIM versions of the GALAXY Y and the  GALAXY Y Pro Android phones that was launched recently and are the are aimed at Younger generation. The Samsung GALAXY Y DUOS 3.14-inch touch screen display and has polished metallic casing. It is 11.98mm thin and weighs 109 g. Samsung now offers 16 popular games for Galaxy smartphones for free on their Samsung Apps app store. They are also running Samsung App Tournament Event on their Facebook page that would let you win prizes. The list of supported devices include Samsung GALAXY Note, GALAXY S II HD, GALAXYS II, GALAXY S Wi-fi, Galaxy Ace and Galaxy Gio. Samsung launches White Galaxy Note in South Korea

Samsung has launched White version of the Galaxy Note in South Korea. Samsung announced the Galaxy Note in September and launched it in Korea this November with LTE support. The new White version would also come with LTE support and complete white colored front and back including a white colored S Pen. The features are similar to the black version. Samsung Galaxy R price drops to Rs. 20,990


Samsung Galaxy R has seen a price drop in India. Samsung announced Galaxy R, stripped down version of the Samsung Galaxy S2, this July. It was launched in India at a steeper price of Rs. 27439 this October. The price of the phone dropped to 22,900 recently and now it is available less than that. Samsung Galaxy Note unboxing

The Samsung Galaxy Note has arrived and with it comes the now obligatory unboxing video. But first, a quick recap on what the Galaxy Note is. The Galaxy Note is a super sized phone, or a small tablet – depending on your point of view. Personally I view it more as a phone as, while it is massive, it is a fully functioning phone, and most users will likely use this as their main phone rather than carrying a separate smartphone (and why would you want to?). Add the S-Pen stylus and the 5.3″ Super AMOLED HD (800 x 1280) display with Wacom digitiser to the mix and what you get is a device that replaces not only your smartphone, but also your Moleskine notebook.
