Now Manish Khatri from Mahesh Telecom says that the smartphone will go on sale this week for Rs. 5,700 (MOP) with stock arriving as soon as tomorrow. Samsung expected to bring Windows Phone devices this year: Report

Samsung may launch Windows powered smartphones this year, according to a new report from Korea Times. The report said that the company is currently testing stability on Windows 8.1 devices.

Samsung has official announced the Galaxy A7, the company’s latest smartphone in the A series with a metal unibody design and 6.3mm thickness. It has a 5.5-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 SoC in the dual SIM variant and the single SIM LTE variant is powered by s Exynos 5430 SoC. Even the dual SIM Snapdragon variant comes with LTE support depending on the market. It runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) with Samsung’s own UI on top. Samsung to launch round smartwatch at MWC?

Samsung expects 37% decrease in profits for Q4, 2014

Samsung revealed its preliminary earnings guidance that it is expecting 37% decrease in profits for the Q4, 2014. The company stated that operating profit for the October-December period was estimated at 5.2 trillion won (USD 4.7 billion), down 37.4 per cent from the fourth quarter of 2013.

After revealing the Galaxy Grand Max (SM-G720N0) in its brochure last month, Samsung today officially launched the smartphone in Korea. The Grand Max has a 5.25-inch HD screen, is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat). It has a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.
