After revealing the Galaxy Grand Max (SM-G720N0) in its brochure last month, Samsung today officially launched the smartphone in Korea. The Grand Max has a 5.25-inch HD screen, is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat). It has a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The smartphone is just 7.9mm thick.

It has a unique pattern on its back cover. It comes with single SIM support and 4G LTE connectivity, but we can expect it in dual SIM variants if it is launched in the Asian markets.

The Samsung Galaxy Grand Max comes in White color and is priced at 319,000 South Korean Won (US$ 290 / Rs. 18302 approx.). It is available for purchase from the official Samsung Online Store in Korea. It will also be released on all the three major carriers in the country. The company has not revealed any details regarding the global roll out yet.
