Samsung Galaxy S9+ outshines Google Pixel 2 for the top spot on DxOMark

Samsung Galaxy J3 (2018) and Galaxy J6 with Android 8.0 surface in benchmarks

Samsung smartphones with model numbers SM-J337P/SM-J337A and SM-J600F have surfaced in Geekbench, which could be Galaxy J3 (2018) and Galaxy J6. According to the listing both the phones will run Android 8.0 (Oreo) and pack 2GB of RAM.

Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ launching in India on March 6, pre-order begins same day on Flipkart, Airtel Online Store

Samsung announced the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ smartphones with new dual aperture camera, Super slo-mo and several features at its Unpacked 2018 event at the MWC 2018 earlier this week.  It also started pre-booking for the phones in India soon after the announcement. Today the company has confirmed that it will launch the flagship smartphones in India at an event on March 6th.

Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ with Quad HD+ Infinity display, dual aperture camera announced

Samsung just announced Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ smartphones at its Unpacked 2018 event at the MWC 2018 in Barcelona, as it had promised. The main highlight of the smartphones is the variable aperture cameras. The S9 has a 12-megapixel rear camera with variable aperture tech that uses f/1.5 aperture for night shots for a brighter picture and f/2.4 aperture for normal shots in daytime. The S9+ has a secondary 12MP Telephoto lens for live focus for bokeh effect with background blur. Samsung starts building new EUV semiconductor line, to invest $6 billion by 2020

Samsung back in September announced that it is working on 7LPP (Low Power Plus) with EUV (extreme ultra violet) lithography technology for smartphones that is targeted for initial production in the second half of 2018. Opera Max data-savings app renamed as Samsung Max, available only for Samsung smartphones

Opera introduced Opera Max, data savings app in the U.S. and Europe in 2014, which was launched in India in 2015. In the same year Samsung introduced Galaxy J2 with Ultra Data Saving mode powered by Opera Max and started adding the feature in other budget and mid-range smartphones.
