Samsung has recently resumed the roll out of Oreo update to the S8 and S8 Plus globally, and finally, it is now rolling out to the Galaxy Note 8 in France. Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ get first update in India as global roll out of the smartphones begin

Samsung launched the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ smartphones in India last week. Now both the smartphones have received a new update that brings March 2018 Android security patch. It also brings improved stability to Face Unlock and camera for the Galaxy S9+ along with usual set of stability improvements and bug fixes for the phone. For me, the fingerprint sensor issue that doesn’t respond after sometime has been fixed with this update.

Samsung launched  Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ smartphones in India last week. We already brought you the unboxing of the Galaxy S9+, here we have the camera samples from the smartphone. The Galaxy S9+ has a new 12-megapixel primary camera with wide-angle lens that has 1.4µm pixel size, 1/2.55″ sensor size, 77-degree FOV and OIS (Optical Image Stabilization), sames as the S8+ and Note 8, but it comes with a new dual aperture mode to switch between f/1.5 and f/2.4. Xiaomi surpasses Samsung in the largest smartphone market in India in Q4 2017: CMR

Xiaomi has surpassed Samsung in the largest smartphone market in India in the Q4 2017 to become the number one brand, according to a report from Cybermedia Research. Xiaomi outshined Samsung in Maharashtra which alone amounted to 13.7% of the sales during the last quarter of 2017. According to CMR, Xiaomi sold over 31.2% of the Smartphones during the period compared to Samsung which sold 15.3%. Samsung rolled out the Android Oreo update for the Galaxy S8 and the S8+ recently and its just a matter of time before it goes live to Note8. The company didn’t announce any launch date for the update, but now it looks like an official Samsung website has possibly revealed the Galaxy Note 8 Oreo release date and it will get the update starting from March 30th. Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ with Quad HD+ Infinity display, dual aperture camera launched in India starting at Rs. 57900 and Rs. 64900

Samsung today launched the  Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+, the company’s latest flagship smartphones at an event in India, as it had promised. These were introduced at the MWC last week and have variable aperture cameras. The S9 has a 12-megapixel rear camera with variable aperture tech that uses f/1.5 aperture for night shots for a brighter picture and f/2.4 aperture for normal shots in daytime. The S9+ has a secondary 12MP Telephoto lens for live focus for bokeh effect with background blur.
