OPPO and Amazon India partner to launch Realme smartphone brand, Realme 1 launching on May 15

After teasing a new brand yesterday, Amazon India has officially announced the launch of its new Realme brand in partnership with OPPO. It also said that the first phone – Realme 1 will launch with them exclusively on May 15th. This reveals Black Diamond version of the phone with triangular-cut patterns that shimmer bright and dark shades when seen from different angles, same as the OPPO F7. Last week OPPO introduced  A3 with similar Diamond patterns on the back, so the Realme 1 could be a cheaper version with a similar design. OPPO A3 with 6.2-inch FHD+ 19:9 display, 128GB storage, face unlock, Android 8.1 announced

OPPO has announced A3, the company’s latest mid-range smartphone in China, as rumored. This has a similar 6.23-inch Full HD+19:9 aspect ratio display with 88% screen-to-body ratio, is powered by MediaTek Helio P60 with up to 6GB RAM, runs on ColorOS 5.0 based on Android 8.1 (Oreo) and has a 16-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, as the F7, but this has an 8-megapixel front camera instead of 25-megapixel front camera on the F7. OPPO A83 (2018) with 5.7-inch full-screen display, face unlock launched in India for Rs. 15990

OPPO launched the A83 earlier this year. Today it has launched OPPO A83 (2018), an upgraded version with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. Other specifications are same, including the 5.7 HD+ full-screen 2.5D curved glass display, MediaTek Helio P23 SoC with 3GB RAM, 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with support for A.I beauty technology that scan 200 facial recognition spots to beautify a selfie shot perfectly as well as face unlock to unlock the phone quickly. OPPO A3 with 6.2-inch FHD+ display, 6GB RAM, Android 8.1 gets certified, surfaces in benchmarks

OPPO A3, a variant of OPPO F7 recently got certified by TENAA and has also appeared on Geekbench listing. This has a similar 6.23-inch Full HD+19:9 aspect ratio display, is powered by MediaTek Helio P60 with up to 6GB RAM, runs on ColorOS 5.0 based on Android 8.1 (Oreo) and has a 16-megapixel raer camera with LED flash, but this has an 8-megapixel front camera instead of 25-megapixel front camera on the F7.

OPPO patents smartphone with in-display fingerprint scanner

OPPO Under the display SensorVivo recently introduced the first smartphone in the world with an in-display fingerprint sensor followed by Huawei Mate RS Porche Design. Now OPPO appears to be the third one in the list as the company’s new patent which was received from State Intellectual Property Office of China (SIPO) reveals a fingerprint scanner under the display. It has a 6.23-inch Full HD+19:9 aspect ratio display with a notch and 88% screen-to-body ratio, which it calls Super Full Screen and has a 25-megapixel front camera with support for real-time High Dynamic Range (HDR) sensor and AI Beauty 2.0 for an improved age and gender beautification effects and facial recognition capability by scanning 296 facial recognition points, a 20% improvement from the first-generation technology. OPPO A1 with 5.7-inch 18:9 display, face unlock announced

OPPO has introduced A1, the company’s latest mid-range smartphone in the ‘A series’ in China, which has similar specifications as the A83 that was introduced in China and launched in India recently, but it comes in two different colors and 64GB storage, compared to 32GB in the A83. OPPO R15 with 6.28-inch FHD+ 19:9 OLED display, 20MP front camera, dual rear cameras, Android 8.1 announced

OPPO just announced its flagship R15 series of smartphones in China. It comes with a 6.28-inch FHD+ 19:9 aspect ratio OLED display with a notch with a 1.78mm narrow frame and 90% screen-to-body ratio. It calls it Super-V Display. The R15 is powered by the latest MediaTek Helio P60 12nm SoC, while the R15 Dream Mirror Edition is powered by Snapdragon 660 SoC. OPPO F7 with 6.2-inch FHD+ full-screen display, 25MP front camera launching in India on March 26

Update: OPPO has sent out invites for the launch of OPPO F7 smartphone on March 26th. It says that it will have “the best artificial intelligence”. It also said that it will be launched by 3 cricket starts – Hardik Pandya, Rohit Sharma and Ravichandran Ashwin.  It has also confirmed AI selfie, Cover Shot and AR (Augmented Reality) stickers for the phone..

OPPO R15 with 6.28-inch FHD+ 19:9 full-screen display teased in images officially ahead of announcement

Last week OPPO teased  its upcoming R15 and R15 Plus with a notch display in image and a video that confirmed the design of the phone. It also confirmed that it will have a 6.28-inch 19: 9 full-screen AMOLED Super-V display with 1.78mm narrow frame and 90% screen-to-body ratio. OPPO R15 with 6.28-inch FHD+ full-screen AMOLED display, dual rear cameras, Android 8.1 gets certified, teased in video

OPPO last week teased  its upcoming R15 and R15 Plus smartphones with a notch display. Now the OPPO R15 has been certified by TENAA in China with model numbers PACM00 and PACT00 that reveals its specifications and the company has also released new teaser image and a video that confirms that design of the phone. OPPO also confirmed that it will have a 6.28-inch 19: 9 full-screen AMOLED display with 1.78mm narrow frame and 90% screen-to-body ratio.
