OnePlus just introduced its flagship OnePlus 5 smartphone in several countries. It is now available for pre-order in the US, UK and Europe and ships from June 21 and goes on sale on June 27, but the company will reveal the price of the phone in India only on June 22nd before it goes on sale on Amazon.in. We’ve compiled a list of prices of the smartphone in various regions around the world and also managed to convert them to Indian Rupees (INR). By taking into account the international prices of the OnePlus 5, we expect the top end version with 8GB RAM to easily cost over Rs.35000 in India. It has a 5.5-inch 1080p Optic AMOLED display with DCI-P3 color coverage and has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 835 Mobile Platform and runs on Android 7.1.1 (Nougat) based Oxygen OS that brings new features including a new Reading Mode that uses gray-scale mapping, while filtering out blue light getting data from the ambient sensor promising a similar experience as a e-reader.

This shows the metal unibody design with antennas moved to the top and the bottom of the back. The company already confirmed that it will have dual rear cameras and will be powered by Snapdragon 835 Mobile Platform. Amazon India confirmed 8GB RAM for the smartphone.

OnePlus has confirmed that OnePlus 2 will not get Android 7.0 Nougat update. Launched in 2015, OnePlus 2 currently runs Android Marshmallow and will not be updated with latest Android OS, OnePlus confirmed the same in an interview with Android Authority.

OnePlus has started rolling out OxygenOS 4.1.5 update for the 3 and 3T that brings new push notification feature for important information from OnePlus along with updates to its apps, several bug fixes including fix for VoLTE issue on Jio SIMs and optimizations for battery, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and more.
