Nokia 2 Android Oreo update finally released – Here’s how to get it

HMD Global has finally released Android Oreo update for the Nokia 2 smartphone, as it had promised. Nokia 2 was launched in 2017 running Android 7.1.1 (Nougat) OS, later the company said that the phone will get Android 8.1 Oreo update directly skipping 8.0 update, but it cannot be moved to Android Oreo (Go Edition) program since it was launched with Android.

Nokia 9 PureView to go on sale in the US from March 3rd, $100 off for limited period

HMD Global at the MWC 2019 event has introduced the Nokia 9 PureView smartphone with Penta cameras. The main highlight of the smartphone is its 12MP Penta rear cameras, two RGB and three monochrome lenses to collect up to 10-times the amount of light than a single color sensor, with ZEISS Optics. Developed in cooperation with multi-sensor camera company Light. Nokia 4.2 with 5.71-inch HD+ 19:9 display, Snapdragon 439, dual rear cameras, Android Pie announced

Along with the Nokia 3.2, HMD Global also introduced its Nokia 4.2 Android One smartphone with a 5.71-inch HD+ waterdrop notch display. It is powered by Snapdragon 439 with up to 3GB of RAM, runs Android 9.0 (Pie), has a 13-megapixel rear camera along with a 2-megapixel secondary camera for portrait shots and an 8-megapixel camera on the front. Nokia 1 Plus Android Pie (Go Edition) smartphone with 5.45-inch display, 4G VoLTE announced

HMD Global has announced Nokia 1 Plus, the company’s latest Android Go Edition phone and the successor of  Nokia 1 that was introduced last year at the MWC. It has a 5.45-inch FWVGA+ IPS, compared to 4.5-inch FWVGA screen in the predecessor, is powered by MediaTek MT6739 SoC with 1GB of RAM, runs Android 9.0 (Pie) Go Edition. It has an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front camera.

Nokia 9 PureView with 5.99-inch Quad HD pOLED HDR 10 display, Five rear cameras with ZEISS Optics, in-display fingerprint sensor announced

HMD Global just announced Nokia 9 PureView, the company’s latest flagship smartphone at an event in MWC, as expected . The main highlight of the smartphone is its 12MP penta rear cameras, two RGB and three monochrome lenses to collect up to 10-times the amount of light than a single colour sensor, with ZEISS Optics. Developed in cooperation with multi-sensor camera company Light, it captures HDR shots using five cameras simultaneously with up to 12.4 stops of dynamic range and a full scene 12MP depth map and fuse it together into one 12MP photo with outstanding dynamic range and depth of field to refocus later. It is capable of shooting 60-megapixel images in burst mode and can process up to 240 megapixels of data.

Nokia 6.1 Plus 6GB RAM version launched in India for Rs. 18499

HMD Global launched the  Nokia 6.1 Plus smartphone in India back in August last year for Rs. 15,999, which is now selling for Rs. 15,499 on official site, and Rs. 13,999 during offer on Flipkart. Today it has launched the 6GB RAM version of the phone in India at Rs. 18,499, available in Blue and Black colors through Nokia.com/phones.  Earlier this month the company launched the 4GB RAM and 6GB RAM with 64GB storage variants of Nokia 5.1 Plus for Rs. 14,499 and Rs. 16,499, respectively earlier this month.

After releasing Android 9.0 (Pie) beta update for the Nokia 6 yesterday, HMD Global has released Pie update for its budget Android Go Edition smartphone Nokia 2.1, as it had promised. The phone was released back in August last year running Android 8.1 Oreo (Go Edition), so this should be one of the first Android Go Edition phone to get Pie update.
