LG unveils PRADA 3.0 Android phone with 4.3 inch NOVA Plus display

 

LG has unveiled PRADA 3.0, their next phone in the PRADA range. They announce it would  be launched next year, but they launched it earlier. This device has PRADA’s own elegant new design with 4.3 inch NOVA Plus display with 800-nit brightness. It has specially developed control concept with a unique menu and symbols in black, gray and white. It is powered by 1.0 GHz Dual core processor and runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) that is up-gradable to Android’s Ice Cream Sandwich. LG Optimus LTE L-01D arrives in Japan, available in Red color and with NFC support on NTT Docomo

LG has launched the Optimus LTE L-01D in Japan. NTT Docomo already announced the LTE device in their NEXT series this October. LG announced the device for Korea this October and it launched earlier this month in US on  AT&T as LG Nitro HD. The LG Optimus LTE L-01D comes with a 4.5 inch (1280 x 720 pixels) True HD IPS display with 326 PPI and runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). It is powered by 1.5 GHz dual-core Qualcomm snapdragon processor and features an 8MP Auto focus camera with LED Flash, 1080p HD video recording and 1.3MP front facing camera. Samsung Galaxy Y vs LG Optimus Me vs Micromax A70

Here is the comparison between 3 low-end Android smartphones that are packed with features and also budget friendly. The Samsung Galaxy Y is the latest low end Android phone from Samsung that was launched in October. It packs in a powerful 832MHz Processor that is a plus for the price. The LG Optimus ME was showcased at MWC earlier this year and launched in India this April. The Micromax A70 is the successor of the Micromax’s first Android phone, Micromax A60. LG Optimus Link Dual SIM Android Phone now shipping in Russia

LG announced the LG Optimus Pro and Optimus Net this July. They have also announced that the LG Optimus Net would come with Dual SIM and NFC support (based on the carriers) in 30 European Markets by Summer. Now LG has announced on their LG Russia’s Facebook page that the LG Optimus Link which is the European version of the LG Optimus Net with Dual SIM has started shipping in Russia. LG Nitro HD with 720p HD Display and 4G LTE gets Priced at $249.99 for AT&T USA

LG announced the Optimus LTE in Korea last month  which boasts of a 720p HD IPS Display and at that point LG did not plan to release the device in other markets. Looks like that has changed as LG launched the Optimus LTE in Canada earlier this month and now AT&T has announced that it is going to launch the the LG Nitro HD which seems like the carrier’s variant of the Optimus LTE. The device packs a True HD AH-IPS (High Definition Advanced High Performance In-Plane Switching) 4.5 inch display with  329 pixels per inch. More details about the display technology here . LG confirms Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update for Optimus 2X, Optimus Black and Optimus 3D


The LG Optimus 2X, Optimus BlackOptimus 3D and the Optimus LTE would be the first LG devices that would get the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update confirms LG on their Facebook page. LG has just started rolling out Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) update for their Optimus 3D that brings lots of new camera features and for the Optimus 2x. New PRADA Phone by LG coming in 2012

Luxury goods maker PRADA has extended it’s partnership with handset maker LG for its next version of it’s luxury phone which is expected to arrive in 2012. The two companies have been working together since 2006 and the partnership saw 2 new luxury handsets being launched under the PRADA brand. The PRADA by LG 1.0 sold over 1 million units and I’m sure the duo are looking forward to repeat history.Pic from the “signing ceremony below”. LG Optimus Pro and Optimus Net officially launched in India

LG India has officially launched 2 new Android phones, LG Optimus Pro and Optimus Net. These phones run on Android 2.3 and powered by 800 MHz CPU. The LG Optimus PRO has the combination of touch and QWERTY and features a unique Portrait Touch Screen that allows user to read and write up to 16 lines as compared to 8-10 lines in the normal screens. The QWERTY keypad with dedicated shortcuts will enable smartphone users to multitask. LG Optimus NET comes with Social +, unique social media aggregator which enables smartphone users to get updates, events of popular social networking portals in a widget on the home screen. LG Optimus 2X Gingerbread update to roll out this month in India


LG Optimus 2X would get the Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) update this month says LG India in their Tweet. The LG Optimus 2X launched in India this April and it runs on Android 2.2 (Froyo). It was expected to be available in June or July but it got delayed. LG has officially confirmed earlier this week that the LG Optimus 3D would receive the Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) along with lots of enhancements. LG and T-Mobile has announced an unique phone, LG DoublePlay with dual touch screen displays and split QWERTY keyboard. The phone has 3.5-inch main display and 2.0-inch sub display as well as a full slide-out split QWERTY keyboard and Swype. This would let you multitask easily by working on the 2 screens simultaneously. It runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) and it is powered by a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. LG shows off True HD IPS display with better resolution, brightness and colors

LG unveiled LG Optimus LTE Smartphone with 4.5–inch True HD IPS display in Korea last week. This offers advanced resolution, brightness and clarity and shows colors in their most natural tones. The display is developed in close collaboration with sister company LG Display and it offers 16:9 screen viewing without distortion that are used in the television industry. LG introduced 3D stereoscopic display on the Optimus 3D and the 700-nit superbright NOVA display on the Optimus Black.
