LG Quick Voice is now ‘Q Voice’, Global English version coming in 2013


LG announced the Quick Voice, their own intelligent voice recognition app for Optimus devices last month. The company has now renamed it to Q Voice. This voice recognition app would let the users call contacts, on the address book, set alarm, set appointments on the calendar and open apps, open maps to view directions, check weather forecasts, stocks, open YouTube videos and much more using voice commands.

Currently the app is available only in Korean language for select devices. LG has announced that they plan to expand the app for global customers with introduction of English language support in the first half of 2013.

The app is already available for LG Optimus Vu in Korea which would get an update. It would also be available for  LG Optimus LTE 2 in Korea at the end of July.
