We had earlier reported about the LG Chocolate successor called the BL40. The new phone will be the fourth in the LG Black Label series of phones and will be designed by the same team that originally created the first Chocolate. The phone is set to be officially announced in August but now LG has released the first official shots of the phone.

The LG-GM730 is the newest phone among LG’s easy-to-use smartphones line-up to come. The company has recently signed a special contract with Microsoft, allowing them to be the first manufacturer of a phone with the new version of Windows Mobile 6.5. On top of Windows Mobile, the LG-GM730 will provide LG’s dynamic, direct and intuitive S-Class User Interface.
At the Mobile World Congress 2009, Microsoft unveiled “Windows phones” based on Windows Mobile 6.5 OS. In addition to the new user interface and a richer browsing experience, the Windows phones also feature two new services: My Phone and Windows Marketplace for Mobile.
The new Windows Mobile 6.5 home screen keeps people up-to-date on important information by providing a dashboard-like experience to items such as new e-mails, texts, missed calls and calendar appointments. It also includes an improved touch-screen interface, making it easy to take action with a finger.
Well, considering the rising popularity of the radio, it is only but expected that radio enabled handsets are gaining popularity in the country.
Keeping the target audience of students and the youth in mind, LG recently launched two new handsets GB106 and GB110 with Radio capability and a new feature: The “Intenna” FM radio do away with the need to attach a headset to turn on the music. Both handsets are capable of accessing all radio stations without connecting the wired headset to be used as an antenna since they come with an integrated FM antenna.

The phone has a unique 3D touchscreen interface some what similar to the Panels interface in Xperia
“The direct, intuitive and dynamic S-Class UI will be unlike anything that has appeared on a mobile phone before,” Skott Ahn, president and CEO of LG Mobile, said in a statement. and LG is expected to show this phone at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona this week.
The Arena phone will have a 3 inch touchscreen display (800×480 pixels) and a 5-megapixel camera will support DVD quality video recording.
The LG Watch Phone – GD910 was glimpsed at the recently concluded CES 2009 event and is only a glimpse of what LG is working on for the next iteration of mobile phones.
Nicole Lee from CNet was lucky enough to gather info about the LG Watch Phone and was surprised at how easy it seemed to dial numbers on the tiny dial pad, even though the screen only measures 1.43 inches diagonally.
According to LG, texting will be done in a similar manner with a virtual T9 keypad.
The glass screen on top works as a capacitive touch screen, while on the right side of the watch are three buttons: the Talk, Clear, and End buttons, respectively. The Watch Phone’s speakers were surprisingly loud even at the event.
