Lenovo Vibe X vs HTC One

Lenovo announced the Vibe X, the company’s latest flagship smartphone at the IFA 2013, and the HTC One is the company’s latest flagship smartphone that was released earlier this year. The Lenovo Vibe X is powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6589T processor, while the HTC One is powered by a Snapdragon 600 chip clocked at 1.7 GHz with Adreno 320 GPU. The Lenovo Vibe X is powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6589T processor, while the global variant of the Galaxy S4 is powered by a 1.9 GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 600 Processor. Lenovo S5000 with 7-inch HD display, quad-core processor and Android 4.2 announced

Lenovo has announced the S5000, a new tablet in the S series. It has a 7-inch (1280 x 800 pixels) wide-viewing angle display, powered by a 1.2 GHz Quad-Core Media Tek 8389 processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). It has a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 1.6-megapixel front-facing camera. It is just 7.9mm thick and weighs 246 grams. It has rear speakers and packs a 3450 mAh battery that offers up to 8 hours of continuous WiFi browsing. It comes with 3G SIM support and voice calling and also available in WiFi-only variant. Lenovo has announced the Vibe X, the company’s latest smartphone at the IFA 2013. It has a 5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) IPS “20/20 Vision” display at 440 PPI for sharp images with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6589T processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, BSI sensor and has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with 88 degree wide angle lens. There is also a photo application to view and organize images, option to create puzzles and customize specific games from the photos, choose custom settings and filters and instant photo and video sharing. LG Optimus G Pro vs Lenovo K900

LG Optimus G Pro was LG’s first Full HD phone which was announced way back in January but only recently launched. The Lenovo K900 was also announced in January and has been available since June in India.

Both the phones are similar in the fact that both of them have a 5.5inch Full HD display. The internals are completely different with the G Pro being powered by a Snapdragon 600 Processor while the Lenovo K900 is powered by Intel Clover Trail dual-core processor.

Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 vs Lenovo K900

Samsung is undoubtedly one of the front runners of the Android race while Lenovo are catching up with them fast. Samsung has been looking to expand its Galaxy portfolio and the Galaxy Mega 6.3 is a result of company’s interest in the 6inch+ category while the Lenovo K900 is Lenovo’s current flagship powered by an Intel processor.

Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 was launched at the end of May in Indian while the Lenovo K900 has been available since June although it had been announced way back in January earlier this year. Despite being different devices of different capabilities, they are priced almost similarly and lets check out which of the two performs better.

Lenovo’s strong first quarter boosted by more mobile device shipments than PCs

Lenovo is one of the few companies that is doing good in both the PC and smart devices industry. As a fruit of its efforts, it has had a very successful first quarter in 2013, which ended June 30 with a revenue of US$8.8 billion which is a ten percent increase year-over-year. Also the company’s pre-tax income grew to US$215 million which is a 16% increase year-over-year and earnings grew by 23% year-over-year to US$174 million.

Lenovo A1000, A3000 and S6000 Android Tablets launched in India, priced between Rs. 8999 and Rs. 27000

Lenovo has launched three new Android tablets in India. These tablets were announced earlier at the MWC 2013 and the A1000 went on sale in India from the official Lenovo online store last month. The A1000 has a 7-inch (1024 x 600 pixels) display, powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core MediaTek MTK8317 processor and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). It has a SIM card slot with 2G data support, voice calling capabilities and a VGA front-facing camera. The A3000 also has a similar 7-inch display, but it is powered by a quad-core MediaTek 8125 processor. It also supports 3G and voice calling. Lenovo K900 Gaming Performance Overview

While we are busy writing our complete review of the Lenovo K900, we thought it would be right to show you the gaming performance overview, as a glimpse into the performance aspect of the Intel Z2580 system on a chip residing inside this flagship device. The 2 GHz dual core processor has a total of 4 threads thanks to Intel’s own Hyper Threading technology and giving company is the PowerVR SGX 544 MP2 for graphics. Impressively enough, the GPU is clocked at a high 533 MHz frequency, making it one of the fastest clock rates for the specific model. All said, lets move on to the gaming part of the device then!

The K900 is Lenovo’s massive flagship device that recently launched in India for Rs. 32,999. Boasting some impressive specs, it has landed in our labs for testing. The huge 5.5 inch 1080p IPS screen is coupled with powerful internals such as the 2 GHz dual core Intel CloverTrail processor and the 13 megapixel Sony Stacked CMOS sensor camera, making it a very impressive package. Lenovo plans to launch sub-Rs.5000 smartphones in India

Lenovo has plans to launch devices priced below Rs 5,000 to India, according to a recent report from The Hindu Business Line. The report also says that Lenovo aims to sell 1 million smartphones in India this year. Lenovo entered into the smartphone market in India last year with launch of 5 Android smartphones priced between Rs. 6499 and Rs. 28499. The company launched range of smartphones, A390, A706, S820, P780, S920 and K900 last week priced between Rs. 8689 and Rs. 32999. The reason behind this new move is their shrinking PC business. Lenovo today introduced its flagship smartphone, the Intel CloverTrail+ powered Lenovo K900, in India. Show off earlier at CES, the phone has a mammoth 5.5inch Full HD display that is covered by a Gorilla Glass 2 panel. Under the hood is a 2Ghz dual core Intel Atom Z2580 processor. During our brief time with the phone we felt that this processor was more than capable of keeping everything running smooth. Lenovo S820 with 4.7-inch HD display, quad-core processor, Android 4.2 launched for Rs. 19599

Lenovo has launched the S820 along with S920 in the S Series. It has a 4.7-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) 2.5D IPS curved glass display, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.2.1 (Jelly Bean) with Lenovo’s custom UI on top. It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. The rear camera capture 100 consecutive shots in burst mode similar to the S920 and can shoot stills white recording video. It comes with dual SIM support with dual standby.
