He will be responsible for steering the company’s aggressive growth strategies for Smartphones in India.He has over twenty years of rich experience in Business Management and Consumer Marketing in varied industries such as Telecom, Services and Office Products. He worked with Sony Ericsson for 7 years and was responsible for setting up and launching Sony Ericsson brand in India. He was the Business Head for LG Mobile, India for 2 years. In Lenovo, he will be responsible for steering the company’s aggressive growth strategies for Smartphones in India. Lenovo released the P770, the company’s latest Android phone with a massive 3500 mAh battery. We brought you hands-on video of the device from the CES 2013 earlier this year. Here we have the device for unboxing. It is has a 4.5-inch IPS screen at a resolution of 960 by 540 pixels at 245 PPI pixel density. It is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core MediaTek MT6577 processor and comes with Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) on-board with Lenovo’s own UI on top.

Lenovo K900 Intel Clover Trail+ powered smartphone expected to launch in India on May 10

Lenovo K900, the first Intel Clover Trail+ powered smartphone that was unveiled at the CES 2013 would be launched in India on May 10th for a price tag of less than Rs. 25,000, according to a report from NDTV Gadgets. This is the first smartphone to be powered by a dual-core Intel Atom Clover Trail+ CPU. The ZTE GEEK with a similar processor was announced earlier this month. The Xolo X1000 that was launched last month was expected to come with the Clover Trail+ CPU, but it had a 2 GHz Intel Atom Z2480 processor. The Lenovo K900 has a  5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD IPS display with at 419 PPI pixel density and Gorilla Glass 2 protection and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). Lenovo A3000 Photo Gallery

Alongside the Lenovo S6000, the company also announced a smaller 7 inch tablet called the A3000. The display is slightly lower resolution at 1024 x 600 pixels but is of the IPS variety with pretty good viewing angles. The contrast ratio, color quality and brightness are definitely quite good.

Lenovo S6000 Photo Gallery

In an event ahead of the Mobile World Congress, Lenovo annouced three new tablets. The highest end of those is the S6000 which sports a 10.1 inch screen. The screen is of the IPS variety and has a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels.

Lenovo A1000, A3000 and S6000 Tablets running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean announced

Lenovo has unveiled 3 new Android Tablets, A1000 and A3000 with 7-inch displays and A6000 with a 10-inch display at the MWC 2013. The Lenovo A1000 comes with Dolby Digital Plus and font firing speakers, the Lenovo A3000 comes with a 7-inch (1024 x 600 pixels) IPS display and comes with Optional 3G HSPA+ connectivity. The high-end S6000 has a 10-inch (1280 X 800 pixels display) and comes with optional HSPA+ support. All these are powered by Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). Lenovo IdeaPhone S890 hands-on

Lenovo unveiled range of Android smartphones at the CES 2013. We got some hands-on time with the IdeaPhone S890, the company’s high-end smartphone at CES. It has a 5-inch (960 x 540 pixels) qHD IPS screen with 178 degree viewing angle and the phone is 9.3mm thick. It is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core MediaTek MT6577 processor and runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) with Lenovo’s custom UI on top. It also has dual SIM support with dual standby.

Lenovo IdeaTab S2110 Hands-on

Lenovo showcased the IdeaTab S2110 at the International CES 2013 in Las Vegas earlier this month, and we got some hands-on time with the device. It has a 10.1-in IPS display with 1280 x 800 pixel resolution and runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). It is powered by a dual-core 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon APQ8060A processor and has a 1.3M HD front-facing camera. Android tablets with a keyboard dock is already popular with the Asus Transformer tablet, and even this one from Lenovo includes a battery, USB 2.0 ports and a 3-in-1 card reader in the optional docking station.

Lenovo IdeaPhone K860 hands-on

We already saw the Lenovo IdeaPhone K860 in the hands-on images when it launched in India last year, now we have the hands-on video from the CES 2013. The Lenovo K860 is the company’s high-end Android smartphone that launched in India last November at a price tag of Rs. 28,499. It has a 5-inch (720 x 1280 pixels) HD IPS display with wide 178 degree viewing angle which looks good and the phone feels solid. It is powered by a 1.4 GHz quad-core Exynos 4412 processor and it runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) with Lenovo’s custom UI.

Lenovo IdeaTab A2109 hands-on

Lenovo showcased the IdeaTab A2109 at the Consumer Electronics Show 2013 in Las Vegas. We got some hands-on time with the tablet that is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor. The tablet has a 9-inch (1280 x 800 pixels) HD display with 16:10 aspect ratio which is pretty good. It runs on Android 4.1.1 (Jelly Bean) and has 1.4 watt dual speakers and SRS WOW TruMedia audio enhancement for clear audio output.

Lenovo unveiled the IdeaPhone A800 along with the range of Android smartphones at CES 2013, and we got some hands-on time with the entry-level music phone at the show. It has a 4.5-inch (854 x 480 pixels) FWVGA IPS display, powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core MediaTek MT6577 processor and runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) with custom Lenovo UI on top. It comes with dual SIM support with dual standby. It has SmartMusic technology and SRS support for enhanced audio output.

Lenovo K900 hands-on


Lenovo unveiled the IdeaPhone K900, the company’s latest smartphone powered by the 2 GHz dual-core Intel Atom Z2580 (Clover Trail+) processor with SGX544-MP2 dual-core graphics at CES 2013 last week. Here we have the hands-on video and images from the Lenovo’s booth at the CES. It has a 5.5-inch 1080p Full HD IPS display with at 400+ PPI pixel density and Gorilla Glass 2 protection. The front-facing camera has a 88 degree viewing angle. Since the device was an early prototype, we couldn’t test out the software. It is expected to run on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) at the launch.
