Lenovo P780 was launched recently in India. The Lenovo P780 resembles most mid-range phablets in India because of its internal specifications, but differs from the crowd thanks to a couple of special features. One among its unique feature is that Lenovo P780 comes with an enormous 4000mAh (which according to a Lenovo Ad will help you last a week in an island). Another differentiating factor that bolsters its position over the other mid-range smartphones is its solid build quality.

Lenovo P780 Camera Samples
Lenovo P780 was recently launched in India and we brought you the unboxing followed by the photo gallery of this beautiful phone. Lenovo P780 has midrange specifications that includes a quad-core processor from MediaTek, 720p display and an 8MP camera. Sometime back we reviewed the Lenovo K900 and we were quite impressed by its 13MP camera and now lets check out how this camera performs.

Lenovo P780 was launched recently and you can check out our unboxing post here. Lenovo P780 belongs to the class of MediaTek MT6589 powered 5inch phablets with HD displays. What sets it apart from the other phones with similar features is its solid metal build quality and its huge 4000mAh battery(its steep price too).
As I have mentioned before, the phone stands out because of its solid build quality but is on the heavier side. On the front, we have the stylish earpiece above the display and three capacitive touch keys below the display. The front and back material are fused together by a silver colored metal ring that houses the 3.5mm audio jack and the power lock button on the top and the volume rocker on the right side.
On the back of the phone, you get a solid metal material at the center that can be removed. Removing the metal cover, you can see the non user removable 4000mAh battery above which we have a couple of slots of SIM cards and a microSD card slot.

Lenovo Yoga Tablet 8 and Yoga Tablet 10 launched in India for Rs. 22999 and Rs. 28999
Lenovo has launched two new multimode Android tablets, the Yoga Tablet 8 and Yoga Tablet 10 in India. Lenovo Yoga allows the users to experience the tablet in three modes – hold, tilt and stand mode. The Yoga 10 inch and Yoga 8 inch models are powered by 1.2GHz MediaTek MT8389 Quad Core processors and run on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). The front speakers with Dolby audio provide a powerful surround sound experience through the device speakers and headphones. Both these tablets were announced last month. Lenovo Vibe Z with 5.5-inch 1080p display, Snapdragon 800 processor official
Lenovo Vibe Z (K910), the company’s latest flagship smartphone surfaced in China last month. Now the phone is official in China through Lenovo’s website. It has a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) IPS display at 400 PPI, powered by a 2.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor and runs on Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean) with Vibe ROM on top. It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with Sony Exmor RS sensor, dual LED flash f/1.8 aperture, BSI sensor and has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with 84 degree wide viewing angle and f/ 2.2 aperture. Lenovo P780 Benchmarks
Lenovo launched the P780, successor of the P770 back in June. We brought you the unboxing of the device earlier this week, here we have the benchmarks of the device. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core MediaTek 6589 processor with PowerVR SGX 544MP GPU, better than its predecessor which had a 1.2 GHz dual-core MediaTek MT6577 CPU with PowerVR SGX 531 GPU. It has a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) touch screen IPS display and runs on Android 4.2.1 (Jelly Bean) with Lenovo’s custom UI on top. Let’s find out how this compete with other devices in range of synthetic benchmark tests when compared to other smartphones.

Ashton Kutcher is Lenovo’s new Product Engineer
That 70s show, Jobs and Two and a Half Men star Ashton Kutcher has been hired by Lenovo as its new Product Engineer. While the job title might be reaching, Ashton’s role in the Chinese company seems far more detailed than the other celebrity associations in the past have been. Lenovo is fresh off the announcements of its new 8 inch and 10 inch Yoga Android tablets, with a refreshing design and an affordable price point, and they actually did a live stream from YouTube Space LA with Ashton Kutcher playing host. There was a promo that played during the live stream which clearly wanted to showcase Kutcher’s geek chops, which is not surprising, having known for being a tech investor.

Lenovo A10 announced as the company’s first Android powered laptop
Lenovo announced its first Android powered laptop today – Lenovo A10. Lenovo A10 is targeted at being an affordable and ultra-portable laptop that runs on Android OS. The dual-mode laptop from Lenovo weighs less than a kilo-gram and is no more than 17.3mm thick.

Lenovo A850, A516, A369i and A269i launched in India, priced between Rs. 15999 and Rs. 5499
Lenovo India has launched four new Android smartphones in the A Series. The A850 is a mid-range smartphone is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor, while the other entry-level smartphones, A516, A369i and A269i are powered by dual-core processors. The A850 has a 5.5-inch (960 x 540 pixels) IPS display with wide 178 degree viewing angle, the A516 has a 4.5-inch (854 x 480 pixels) IPS display with wide 178 degree viewing angle and the Lenovo A369i has a 4-inch (800 x 480 pixels) display. All these smartphones come with dual SIM support.

Lenovo had announced a lot of products at the IFA 2013 in Berlin and among many announcements was the Lenovo Vibe X which is expected to be the company’s flagship model.
