Google Nexus 9 India Prices Revealed on Play Store, coming soon

In case you are looking forward to buying the latest Nexus tablet from Google in India, we have some good news to share. We just spotted the Google Nexus 9 as coming soon on the India Play Store and the price for the 16GB Wi-Fi only version is listed as Rs.28900 which is a good deal considering the US pricing is $399 but taxes and shipping will bring the price to roughly about Rs.27000 and duties could end up making it even costlier.  It seems like the 32GB Wi-Fi only version will not be coming to India. The Google Nexus 9 is made my HTC and packs a 8.9 inch display and is powered by a Nvidia Tegra K1 chip and runs on the latest version of Android 5.0 Lollipop.

HTC Desire EYE launching in India exclusively on Amazon in November

HTC has announced the Desire EYE in India at the Double Exposure event today. It will be available in the country exclusively on Amazon late November. It was unveiled earlier this month in New York and packs a 5.2-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD display with Corning Gorilla glass protection, 2.3 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) with new HTC Sense UI. HTC has launched Desire 516c, a mid-range Android smartphone in India. This is the Dual SIM (CDMA + GSM) variant of the Desire 516 dual sim that was launched in the country back in June. It supports EDGE on one SIM and 3G EVDO Rev.A on the other. It has a 5-inch (960 x 540 pixels) display, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 200 processor and runs on Android with Sense UI on top. It has a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash and 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera. HTC One M8 EYE launched in India for Rs. 38990

HTC One M8 EYE that went official in China recently, has been launched in India. Most specifications of the smartphone are similar to the HTC One M8, but this has a 13-megapixel rear camera instead of the Ultrapixel camera, similar to the Butterfly 2. It has the same 5-megapixel front-facing camera, similar to the One M8. It has a 5.0-inch 1080p display and is powered by a 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor. HTC has finally launched the Desire 820 and Desire 820q, the company’s latest mid-range smartphones in India. These have 5.5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) display, run on Android 4.4 Kitkat with HTC Sense 6 UI on top, that it upgradable to upcoming Android 5.0. The Desire 820 is powered by a octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor ( four Cortex A53 cores clocked at 1.5 GHz per core and four clocked at 1.0 GHz) with Adreno 405 GPU and the Desire 820q is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor Snapdragon 410 processor. HTC RE Camera launched in India for Rs. 9990

HTC has launched the RE Camera, an action camera like the GoPro. It has a 16 megapixel sensor with a 146 degree wide-angle lens, capable of recording full HD video and 120 fps slow motion video at 720p. It has waterproof body with IP57 rating, and doesn’t require a case for protecting itself from any kind of water damage. It can also record Zoes, just like the other HTC phones. HTC announces Android 5.0 Lollipop update coming to One (M8) and (M7)

HTC has confirmed that the Android 5.0 Lollipop update is coming to One (M8) and (M7). The company has revealed that both the smartphones will receive the update “within 90 days of receiving final software from Google.”

Nexus 6 and Nexus 9 will reportedly launch today

Several reports and videos are suggesting that Nexus 6 and Nexus 9 are wildly expected to be announced on October 15th. Now, a fresh report from the Forbes is claiming that Google will announce the Nexus 6 smartphone and Nexus 9 tablet on a company blog today.

HTC unleashed the RE Camera at the ‘Double Exposure’ event in the US earlier this week. The camera which is an action camera like the GoPro is small and portable. At first glance the camera looks like a small PVC pipe or an inhaler. HTC unveiled the Desire EYE at the Double Exposure event in New York earlier this week, but it did not announce the One M8 EYE that was leaked recently. Now  the smartphone has gone official in China on the official website. Specifications of the smartphone are similar to the HTC One M8, but this has a 13-megapixel rear camera instead of the Ultrapixel camera, similar to the Butterfly 2. HTC announces RE, a GoPro-like action camera

HTC has just announced its entry into a completely new market for the company, action cameras. You might have heard of the GoPro, a little camera in a box, that is usually worn or attached, to provide an action view of the said adventurer/explorer/thing. The HTC Re is similar in its intent, but different in design, with a familiar wide angle lens camera enclosed in an unusual structure of a bent cylindrical tube. The camera aims to capture moments that you usually miss, something that the company already tried to achieve with its Zoe app. The Re wants you to capture those moments, whenever you want, with more creative options than a smartphone, and a form factor that is smaller and easier to handle, leading to more creative opportunities.
