HTC announces Android 5.0 Lollipop update coming to One (M8) and (M7)

HTC has confirmed that the Android 5.0 Lollipop update is coming to One (M8) and (M7). The company has revealed that both the smartphones will receive the update “within 90 days of receiving final software from Google.”


HTC said that it will also update other One family members and select devices “shortly thereafter.” Reports are stating that Google is still finishing final tweaks for Android L and it will be ready soon.Since the Nexus 9 will be showing up in stores on November 3rd, we can expect HTC’s first Lollipop update to drop between then and the first week of February. The company announced Android 5.0 Lollipop yesterday along with Nexus 6 and Nexus 9.


Motorola also announced yesterday that the Android 5.0 update will hit Moto X and Moto G, Moto G LTE, Moto E, Droid Ultra, Droid Maxx, and Droid Mini. The latest version of Android includes Material Design with bold, colorful, and responsive UI design, better notifications and battery saver feature. Moreover, it includes Android Smart Lock for better security, flexible sharing, faster, smoother and more powerful experience with ART, 15 new languages and more.
