T-Mobile continues the revolution by making G2 official!

A few months ago, we saw the first shot of the T-Mobile G2, which is a successor to G1 and T-Mobile first HSPA+ device, and then the story continues and we saw more leak shots and other detail, but we all wait for the launch day, and now the day is finally here. Today, T-Mobile officially announced the T-Mobile G2, and the phone packs some good features like a 3.7-inch screen, full QWERTY keyboard, a 800 MHz s MSM7230 Snapdragon processor, 7 home screens, 5MP camera (LED Flash and Autofocus) with 720p video recordingHD video camera and support for a 32GB MicroSD card. It comes pre-installed with an 8 Gigger for those wondering. You can expect the launch of the G2 later this month, and you can also expect a price tag around $200. While the normal search process involves Type and search , the new Instant search works like Search before you type. Huawei IDEOS with Google Android 2.2 at USD 100-200 Price Band

Huawei has launched a new Android Phone called the IDEOS running on Froyo or Android 2.2. The phone has been developed in partnership with Google and would be released  in Europe, Asia-Pacific, North America and Latin America.The company is aiming to redefine the meaning of an entry level smartphone  with the IDEOS. The phone would be priced between $100-$200 depending on the market.

HTC and Tata Docomo launch the HTC Desire in India

HTC and Tata Docomo have launched the much awaited HTC Desire Android Smartphone in India today. The HTC Desire is also known as a global variant of the Google Nexus One with minor changes in terms of hardware but once get the famous HTC Sense UI on the Desire. The handset is powered by a 1 GHz CPU and sports a 3.7 inch AMOLED Display and a 5MP Camera with Flash.

Google replies to Oracle lawsuit, calls it “baseless” and “an attack”

Yesterday we saw Oracle suing Google over 7 different patent and copyright infringements, which is related to Android and Java. As we know that Oracle acquired Java maker Sun Microsystems last year, and now Java is their property. We were waiting for Google to come out and give a strong reply to Oracle, and they did. Have a look on what Google is saying:

“We are disappointed Oracle has chosen to attack both Google and the open-source Java community with this baseless lawsuit. The open-source Java community goes beyond any one corporation and works every day to make the web a better place. We will strongly defend open-source standards and will continue to work with the industry to develop the Android platform.”

Not only Google is disappointed, all the Android and Google lovers are disappointed. Google is trying their best to defend its mobile OS from the Oracle attack. May be Oracle will be replying to Google regarding the issue soon if they want to continue the legal war. May be Oracle is out of money, so that’s why they are suing Google for some money like they sued Microsoft in 2004, and got $1.6 Billion to resolve the issue. Lets see if Google can stop Oracle’s accusations by defending Android and proving the lawsuit wrong, or are they going to give out some good cash to Oracle to resolve the issue. So stay tuned folks.
