EA Mobile has released the Real Racing 3 for BlackBerry 10 finally. The racing game was released for Android, iPhone and iPad back in February. BlackBerry has announced 9720, a budget smartphone running on BlackBerry OS 7.1. During Q1 earnings conference call BlackBerry announced that it would release a phone running OS 7 later this year, even though they have moved to the BlackBerry 10. It was also leaked last month. It comes with 2.8-inch (480 x 360 pixels) capacitive touch screen display with 246 ppi and a Full QWERTY keyboard. It is powered by 806 MHz processor and runs on BlackBerry OS 7.1. The BlackBerry Z30 had already surfaced in images and videos in recent times under BackBerry A10. Now a Vietnamese website has got hold of the prototype of the device for AT&T. In the detailed walk though the hardware and the software features of the device are shown off. This one has a placeholder as the BlackBerry X00 rather than the previously seen Z00 on the back of the device, behind the battery cover. Apart from these nothing new in this leak. The Facebook application for BB10 just got a fairly major update that adds some much needed features. Alongside the usual bug fixes that bring quicker newsfeed scrolling, you get a refreshed interface. The biggest addition however has to be Facebook Chat. Like on other platforms, you’ll be able to see when a friend is typing a message and search within the chat list.

Samsung today announced its plans to offer BBM on its self branded application store that comes pre-installed on its Galaxy range of Android devices. The move will start off first in Africa which is still a heavy user of BBM services. We expect the application to be available on their app store in other territories as well.

The BlackBerry 10.1 update was announced back in May at the BlackBerry Live conference in Orlando that brought HDR Camera, Better BlackBerry Hub features Support for PIN to PIN messages, Fine Cursor Control and lots more. The BlackBerry 10.1 started rolling out soon after the announcement. Now the BlackBerry 10.1 maintenance update brings BlackBerry Hub enhancements, Imprvements to BlackBerry World, New BlackBerry Balance features and more. Rumored specifications of the upcoming BlackBerry A10 surfaced last week. Vietnamese website that posted images of the images of the battery cover of the device has posted the hands-on images and a video of the device. Specifications of the device matches the earlier rumors. It would feature a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD Super AMOLED display, powered by a 1.7 GHz dual-core Snapdragon MSM8960 Pro processor and run on BlackBerry OS 10.2. Twitter for BlackBerry 10 has been a mixed experience, with it mostly tending to be worse than on other platforms, but thanks to a new update, the real time social network is now better and more functional on BlackBerry 10. BlackBerry launched the BlackBerry Q5, the company’s latest BlackBerry 10 smartphone in India earlier today. At the event, Sunil Lalvani, Managing Director for India at BlackBerry announced that the BBM 7 with BBM Voice would be available for devices running on BB OS 5 and later. BlackBerry Messenger with BBM Voice was released as beta Back in December last year.
