A forum poster over at MacRumors has just posted an image of what appears to be the upcoming iPhone 5. The device appears to have returned to the curved design paradigm of the previous generations. The phone looks extremely thin and appears to coincide with the rumors that the device will clock in at just 7mm thickness.

According to a recent report by the Financial Post, Apple has more cash than the U.S government. Apple reported the quarterly earnings of US$ 75.876 billion till the 25th of June 2011 . IDC : Mobile Phone Market Q2 2011 – Nokia, Samsung, LG top mobile phone vendors by shipments
According to report by Research Firm IDC (International Data Corporation) the Worldwide mobile phone market grew 11.3% year over year in the 2nd quarter of 2011 (2Q11) with the worldwide shipment of 328.4 million units. But, this is low compared to the 16.8% growth in the 1st quarter of 2011 (1Q11), that had worldwide shipment of 365.4 million units. iOS 5 Adding Face Recognition Support
9to5 Mac reports that Apple is adding support for face recognition in iOS 5.0 . The feature will be accessible via API calls by developers allowing for some very interesting applications. The site reports that one of the APIs allows for recognizing the position of the person’s eyes and mouth.
Next Generation iPhone To Come With Curved Back ?

iPhone 5 hitting USA on September 5, International launch on October 5?
From last few months, we are hearing a lot of rumors about the Apple upcoming iPhone. Last month, we first heard that China Mobile will launch the new iPhone in September and then an analyst also claimed it, but he further said that Apple will launch two versions of it, one will be known as iPhone 5 and other will be iPhone 4S. Bloomberg: Samsung Smartphone sales may have surpassed Apple and Nokia
Samsung may have surpassed the sales of the Apple and Nokia smartphones in the second quarter of 2011 reports Bloomberg. Samsung is estimated to have sold between 18 million and 21 million smartphones globally in the April-June quarter, while Nokia sold 16.7 million and Apple sold 20.3 million iPhones. The First OTA update is here for Apple iOS devices. Updating Apple iOS devices were annoying when you are forced to download 600mb+ update file for a single bug fix. When Apple introduced the iOS 5 update along with many new features, they also promised that the iOS devices will receive OTA update starting from iOS5.As you all know iOS5 is still in beta stage and available only for developers. Kenigart has launched their new Camera app for iPhone 4 called Camera PRO+. This app promises photo quality of professional level SLR Camera with the use of special math algorithms to enhance the photo taken with iPhone 4 camera. There are also several digital photo effects to enhance the images.

HTC found guilty of violating 2 of Apple’s Patents by ITC
The International Trade Commission (ITC ) has found HTC guilty of violating 2 of Apple’s patents in the patent litigation between the two companies in the US. This is only a initial finding and the final ruling is yet to be passed. But HTC phones might be banned from being imported to the US if the case continues in favor of Apple who seems to be holding the upper hand in the case at this point. Apple Files Second Complaint Against HTC
Apple has just filed a second patent infringement complaint against HTC. The first complaint was issued for infringement of 20 patents.. Apple has asked to block the import of “personal electronic devices” manufactured by HTC.

Rumor: Next iPad coming later this year, dubbed as iPad HD
Back in March, Apple officially launched the iPad 2 which is successor to the famous iPad. iPad 2 is an amazing tablet and it’s selling like hot cakes, and fortunately our Varun Krish was lucky to get one (check out the unboxing). iPad 2 is approximately 3 months old and now rumors are on the street that next iPad is coming soon. We recently heard that it will be out in Q4 2011 and it will feature a 5x better display than the current version, and probably it will be Samsung’s AMOLED display. Currently, Apple and Samsung are having some bad days as both recently filed a lawsuit against each other, so let’s see what happens.
