Apple releases open source Swift for iOS, OS X, watchOS and tvOS

Apple has released open source Swift programming language, as it promised at the WWDC earlier this year. It is available for iOS, OS X, watchOS and tvOS. It has also released port that works with the Linux operating system. “As an open source language, the broad community of talented developers — from app developers to educational institutions to enterprises — can contribute to new Swift features and optimizations and help bring Swift to new computing platforms,” said the company. Global wearables market soars 197.6% in Q3 2015: Report
The worldwide wearables market grew 197.6% in Q3 2015, according to the latest report from IDC. The total shipment volume for the quarter came to 21.0 million units up from the 7.1 million units shipped in Q3 2014.

ZAGG Rugged Folio Review – Bluetooth Keyboard Case for iPad Air

The ZAGG Rugged Folio is a Keyboard case that consists of two separate parts. The first is the case itself that protects the iPad from scratches as well as drops and bumps which we shall talk about later. The second part is the keyboard dock or attachment. Both the components are primarily made of plastic and then fitted with rubber on top to improve grip and ruggedness. The materials used are quite contrasting to the iPad Air itself which relies on glass and metal for majority of its construction. However, once you get used to the case you don’t really feel it being awkward especially since it still is rock solid despite having a majorly plastic build. The keyboard portion does flex a bit but only when you apply pressure and doesn’t really happen when you are just typing for example.
