Samsung has finally announced the list of devices that would receive the Android 4.4 (KitKat) update, but this list is only for the U.S. variants. Samsung started rolling out the KitKat update for the Galaxy Note 3 last month. The Indian Exynos variant of the Note 3 got the KitKat update by the end of January. LG was responsible for the Nexus 4 and more recently the Nexus 5, and their association with Google continues with the LG G Pad 8.3. The G Pad was originally launched as a premium 8 inch tablet from LG, fully packed with special features added through software but the one we have here is the first tablet to be blessed by Google with a Play Edition, meaning the device will run stock Android without any modifications. Samsung announced a few products for the Indian market today and among them is the Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo. Samsung is, off late, adding a “Neo” to its already existing products and with the addition of the tag, it suggests that they are meant for the mid-range and entry range buyers. The Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo has specifications relatively less powerful than the Galaxy Grand 2.

At CES 2014, Samsung unveiled a lot of Galaxy Note 3 look alike tablets that were huge and had displays as big as 12.2 inches and today they are launching the same in India. The Samsung Galaxy NotePRO is the biggest of the Samsung android tablets and comes with Samsung’s S-Pen functionality.

It has a 4.5-inch (960 x 540 Pixels) PLS capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean). In a world where gargantuan phones, as big as tablets, are released regularly, started a trend of “mini” flagships from companies like Samsung and HTC. They were supposed to be just scaled down versions of their popular flagship devices to cater to the market that just doesn’t want huge screens; instead they were scaled down even from the inside. They sported the same design, but a ton of compromises were made otherwise. A lot of companies followed suit with this, with their own “mini” offerings, and so did Sony, but with a twist.
The Xperia Z1 f was first launched in Japan, showing us the first glimpses of what seemed like the perfect “mini” of a flagship. Specifications of the Xperia Z2 Tablet leaked yesterday. Few hours back evleaks has posted the first press render of the upcoming Sony Xperia tablet. This reveals a new Android 4.4 KitKat UI with a new wallpaper. You can also see the huge bezel. A new twitter user GadgetLeaks has posted more images of the tablet that shows off the new White colored variant and magnetic charging pins on the bottom.
