OPPO India has officially announced its partnership with Lollapalooza India 2027, joining the multi-genre music festival as an Associate Partner. The collaboration is designed to align the smartphone maker’s Reno Series with live music, youth culture, and creative self-expression.
As consumer electronics brands increasingly look for non-traditional avenues to connect with younger demographics, OPPO is positioning its Reno lineup directly within cultural and experiential spaces. The initiative targets Gen Z consumers, a segment where personal identity is closely linked with music, fashion, content creation, and mobile photography.
The Reno Series has maintained an emphasis on design, imaging capabilities, and AI-driven creative tools. Through its current brand messaging, such as the “Live in the Moment, Live it Your Way” campaign, OPPO has focused on themes of authenticity and visual storytelling. The festival partnership serves as a real-world extension of this focus, shifting communication away from standard specification-driven marketing toward culture-led engagement.
Lollapalooza India, known for featuring a mix of domestic and international artists across diverse genres, draws a predominantly young, culturally engaged audience. For OPPO, the event provides a platform to demonstrate device capabilities in high-energy, dynamic environments centered on shared experiences and discovery.
At the 2027 edition of the festival, OPPO plans to deploy interactive on-ground activations and experiential zones. These installations will allow attendees to test the Reno Series’ photography and imaging features in real time, encouraging festivalgoers to document and share their live music experiences on-site.
