Xiaomi just launched the Mi 4 smartphone in India, as expected. It was announced back in July last year, packs a 5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) IPS display with 441 PPI, based one-glass solution (OGS), is powered by a 2.5 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor and runs on MIUI 6 on top of Android 4.4 (KitKat). Asus has announced Zenfone C (ZC451CG), the company’s latest budget smartphone in the Zenfone series in Malaysia. It has almost similar specifications as the Asus Zenfone 4 (A450CG) that was launched last year, but the camera has been downgraded to 5-megapixel and the battery has been upgraded to 2100mAh. Lava has launched Iris X1 Mini and Iris X1 Grand, the company’s latest budget smartphones in the Iris X1 Series. It Iris X1 mini has a 4-inch WVGA screen and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, while the Iris X1 Grand has a 5-inch FWVGA IPS screen and is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek processor. It has a 3.5-inch (320 x 480 pixels) display, is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat). It has a 8-megapixel rear camera without flash and a VGA front-facing camera. It comes with 4G connectivity with VoLTE. Xiaomi launched the Mi 3 smartphone in India back in July. Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G went on sale in India last month for Rs. 9.999. We brought you the battery test results of the smartphone recently, here are the benchmarks. It is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 400 (MSM8228) processor clocked at 1.59 GHz per core and has Adreno 305 GPU, similar to the Redmi 1S. HTC is all set to launch Desire 626, a new smartphone in the Desire 600 series. Press images and complete specifications of the smartphone have been leaked by @upleaks. According to the leak, the smartphone would come with a 5-inch HD display and would run on Android 4.4 Kitkat with HTC Sense UI on top. It would get Android 5.0 update later, says the leakster. Micromax’s YU has announced that it sold 15,000 units of Yureka smartphones in just 4 seconds in its second flash sale on Amazon.in. In the first sale 10,000 units sold out in 3 seconds. The website did not crash after the sale opened, like the first sale. Some managed to order the smartphone, but most users couldn’t get the smartphone and were added to the waitlist, which didn’t open up.
