Reverie launches Swalekh multi-lingual Android keyboard with 11 Indian languages

Reverie Language Technologies has launched Swalekh keypad, its first multi-lingual keyboard for Android. It has support for 11 Indian languages that includes, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Oriya, Punjabi, Tamil and Telugu, in addition to English.

The idea behind launching Swalekh is to empower local language users to have a delightful experience while interacting in their preferred language in a digital ecosystem which is dominated by English, said the company.

It would add other Indian official languages and several popular dialects in future update. It plans to launch its operations in international markets such as the Middle East and South East Asia over the next 6 months.

Commenting on the launch, Arvind Pani, Co-founder and CEO, Reverie Language Technologies, said:
