ZTE Axon Elite with 5.5-inch 1080p display, Snapdragon 810 announced for global markets

ZTE introduced Axon Pro smartphone with 5.5-inch Quad HD screen in the U.S back in July and it introduced the Axon smartphone with a 5.5-inch 1080p screen in China later. At the IFA, the company has introduced the Axon smartphone as Axon Elite for global markets. It has Eyeprint ID, a password-free eye-based biometric unlocking solution that captures unique vein patterns in the human eye using the smartphone’s front facing camera, fingerprint sensor and voice control. Alcatel OneTouch has announced Pop Up and Pop Star smartphones in the Pop series, waterproof Go Play smartphone and Go Watch in the Go series at the IFA 2015. Both the smartphones have a 5-inch HD display. The Pop Up has a metal frame with glass hard key and a back cover with a 3D spin effect, while the Pop Star smartphone has a range of customizable back covers such as Leather Collection, Fashion Collection, Nature-ECO Collection. The Go Play and Go Watch are waterproof, dustproof and shockproof smartphone with IP67 ratings. The Go Watch doesn’t run on Android Wear, but it supports both Android and iOS devices.
