Xiaomi has started rolling out the MIUI 7.2 update to a bunch of new handsets. The company had released the MIUI 7.2 to the first batch of Chinese variants few days ago that included the Xiaomi Mi 5, Mi 4S, Mi Note Pro, MI 4c, Mi Pad, Redmi Note 4G (Single SIM), and Redmi 1S.

BlackBerry is the first OEM to roll out monthly Android security patches along with Google

Last year BlackBerry announced its plans to push hotfixes for critical issues and monthly Android security updates from Google for the BlackBerry Priv smartphone. Earlier this week it rolled out a 17MB OTA update for the BlackBerry Priv that includes Google’s March Android security update addressing multiple vulnerabilities. Today BlackBerry said that it is the first OEM to deliver patches in line with Google’s public disclosure. It also said how BlackBerry it is delivering on its patching commitment. Nexus 5 code repository shows reference for Android N

Yesterday was all about Android N as Google released the preview for its upcoming version of Android. Android N is currently limited to Nexus 6, Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P, Nexus Player, Nexus 9, and Pixel C devices. The list does not include the Nexus 5 but it looks like there is a chance the device might get Android N.

InFocus has launched Bingo 20, the company’s latest selfie-focused budget 4G smartphone in India, a month after launching the Bingo 21. It has the same 5-megapixel front-facing camera with LED flash for capturing better images in low lighting conditions, 8-megapixel auto focus rear camera with LED flash, 4.5-inch FWVGA screen, quad-core Spreadtrum SC9830 processor and Android 5.1 (Lolllipop), but this has 1GB of RAM instead of 2GB RAM in the Bingo 21, hence there is a slight change in the model number. Google Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P update brings performance improvements and bug fixes

Google has released a new update for the Nexus 5X (build MHC19J) and Nexus 6P (build MHC19I) smartphones, few days after it rolled out the latest Android security update for March. This brings performance improvements and also fixes several bugs in both these smartphones. The Nexus 5X gets new toggle for cool color temperature, which can be accessed from the developer settings.
