The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is probably the hottest smartphones in the rumour section right now and now we have another bit of information that will add fuel to the fire. Apparently the smartphone is set for an early launch and will be announced on August 12th followed by a release on August 14th in major markets.

We’ve heard the rumour that this time there might not be an Edge variant of the Note 5 that will launch alongside it. We’ve also heard of a larger S6 Edge Plus in the works. Well it seems that the two handsets might be announced together at IFA in Berlin.

Apple made 92% of the profits in the smartphone industry during Q1 2015 – Samsung follows behind with 15%
While Apple had managed to rake in 65% of the smartphone industry’s operating income last year, this year it seems to have done even better as it has managed to take in 92% of all the profits made in the smartphone industry.
Samsung Galaxy S7 might be codenamed Jungfrau and powered by Snapdragon SoC
Samsung has seen a lot of demand with the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge and while it hasn’t fully turned their fortunes around, it is taking them in the right direction. Now apparently the next generation Galaxy S7 rumours have started showing up. It seems that the Galaxy S7 will be codenamed Jungfrau which is named after the mountain summit in Switzerland.

Samsung is developing a 11k resolution mobile display – Partnering with South Korean Government
If you were thinking that Samsung made a good decision to stick with a 1440p panel on the Note 5 instead of going for the rumored 4k display then you aren’t alone. We’ve reached ridiculously high pixel densities on our smartphones that have more than enough sharpness and detail. However, it looks like the resolution wars are far from over as Samsung have announced that they’re planning to make a mobile display with 11k resolution.

In May, we heard rumors that the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 would be released early as July. A few days later, Samsung Mobile President J.K Shin denied of any such plans to announce the phone in July. Now the rumor has been re-ignited and sources state that the Galaxy Note 5 could be launched possible in the month of August.
