Panasonic has announced the Lumix S1 and S1R full-frame mirrorless cameras with a 35mm full-frame CMOS sensor. These come with HDR still photo mode, that can be played back on HLG-compliant televisions. The cameras can shoot video at 4K, 60fps with dual image stabilization, tiltable LCD display, contrast AD and depth-from-defocus tech. Sony shipped 1.8 million smartphones in Q3 FY 2018, 55% YoY decline

Sony smartphone woes continue to grow as the company ended the December 2018 quarter with just 1.8 million shipments. This represents a fall of 55% compared to last year where it shipped 4 million smartphones. The company has also reduced the full-year outlook, now targeting 6.5 million unit sales compared to 7.0 million units previously. Apple apologizes for FaceTime bug, says fix is coming next week

Apple FaceTime bug has allowed the caller to listen to audio and watch the video of the recipient even if he doesn’t pick up the call. This bug has let Apple to temporarily disable the FaceTime server and the company has officially apologized for the FaceTime flaw. Apple restores Google’s internal iOS apps after certificate misuse
