Google restarts roll out of Android 4.0.2 update for Galaxy Nexus [Download]

0.6% of all Android devices are on Ice Cream Sandwich

Android 4.0 was launched and announced in October and the first device to feature it was Google’s own Galaxy Nexus, and in December Nexus S got an upgrade to Android 4.0. Besides these two devices there are some other devices from other manufacturers running Ice Cream Sandwich unofficially through custom ROMs, through Google’s monthly report we have come to know that 0.6% of all the devices are running Android 4.0 which actually means that around 13 million to 15 million devices are running Andriod 4.0.

Google to come out with a fix for the Galaxy Nexus Volume bug

We have been hearing about the Galaxy Nexus volume bug from the the day it was launched in U.K. It has been covered by every blog and news portal out there, and the users have been reporting and are unhappy about it. Samsung Galaxy Nexus SIM-Free delayed in the UK

Many online retailers in the UK have who were initially all set to ship the Samsung Galaxy Nexus on Nov 17 which is the official launch date for the device in the UK have now post-poned the shipping date. Clove has pushed the shipping date to Nov  23 and Expansys has pushed the date to Dec 1st. Operator 3 UK has warned customers who pre-ordered the device yesterday that their phone won’t be delivered until Nov 22 due to  stock delays.
