They offer a good way to secure your device as well as a faster method of authentication to bypass the lockscreen or grant permissions and passwords. Apple has started rolling out carrier billing for iTunes and App Store in Germany with carrier O2. Customers can now link a phone number to their iTunes account and use carrier billing for purchases, as per a report from TechCrunch.

A US federal jury has ordered Apple to pay $234 million to University of Wisconsin over patent infringement case. The case involved Gurindar Sohi and Terani Vijaykumar, both electrical and electronics engineering graduates of Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani.
