ASUS have announced two new tablets at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) Expo. One device is called the EeePad MeMO and the other is the EeeSlate EP121.
According to DigiTimes, HTC will announce the HTC Scribe tablet at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2011 in Barcelona, Spain, during February 14-17.

HTC is planning to launch an Android powered 7 inch tablet named as “HTC Scribe”. Recently, Sharp and Asus launched their tablets, but HTC won’t launch its tablet at the CES 2011. Sharp’s Android Tablet range – Galapagos is set to be launched outside Japan. The device was launched in Japan few weeks ago and I even managed to briefly play with one when in Tokyo. The device is available in 2 variants a – 5.5 inch and 10.8 inch version and we might see WiFi only and 3G models being launched. A Japanese newspaper talks about Sharps plans to launch the device and the Galapagos e-book service in USA first and then in India ,China and Brazil

More than 40 tablets are expected to launch this week at the CES. Most of the tablets will be powered by the Google’s upcoming operating System, the Android Honeycomb.
