Airtel is continuing to roll out 3G service in various parts of India. Gujarat is the latest state to get Airtel 3G services with most majors parts of the state getting it. Ahmedabad, Baroda, Rajkot, Surat, Gandhinagar, Bhavnagar, Nadiad, Anand, Bharuch, Ankleshwar, Amreli, Chikli, Dahej, Daman, Gandhidham, Godhra, Jamnagar, Junagadh, Porbander, Silvassa, Valsad, Vapi, Rajula, Diu, Una and Verawal are included in the rollout. Idea has launched its 3G services in Kottayam – Kerala. Idea 3G is already available in Kochi, Calicut, Trichur, Palghat, Kannur, Malapuram, Alleppey, Pathanamthitta, Kollam, Trivandrum and Nedumangad in Kerala. Vodafone India launched it’s 3G services during the Cricket World Cup with a really funny advert and surely got a lot of attention. Vodafone pulled the tariffs details from it’s website after a really short period, guess why ? It decided to offer a free trial of 3G services to all it’s customers with 2G rates. If you are one of those users who are enjoying the free 3G on Vodafone, sad news is upon us folks ! The offer is supposed to end on April 10.
BSNL has revised it’s 3G data tariffs and also introduced 2 new plans for both Prepaid and Postpaid users.
