Google to offer mobile app install ads in Search and YouTube

In a bid to enhance its ad offerings, Google will soon start to roll out mobile app install ads in mobile search and YouTube. The company is following other tech giants like Facebook and Yahoo. Just last week Twitter also introduced app-install ads on its mobile platform.

Google updates YouTube for Android with new features

Google seems to be hard at work in updating its Android apps as we have had leaks suggesting complete overhaul for its Gmail app and Calendar app. Google had also just launched its own Google Camera application on the Play Store yesterday and today, it has updated the YouTube application for Android.

YouTube 5.5 for Android brings better search, new tabs on pages and more

Google has updated YouTube app for Android to version 5.5.27, that brings some features such as better search results, that now shows videos, playlists and channels, new tabs such as activity, videos and playlists on a channel and some bugfixes related to Google Cast. This version also has a range of improvements.

Google reveals YouTube Capture app for the iPhone, iPod Touch

Google just launched a dedicated YouTube camera application for iOS users. Called YouTube Capture, the app lets you record and instantly share a video clip to YouTube right from within its interface. The video can also be shared on a range of mobile networks straight from the app itself.

Flipboard for iPhone and iPad v1.9.3 update brings Google+ and YouTube support

Fipboard launched their Android app for phones, Kindle fire and Nook tablet just now. They have also updated their iPhone and iPad app to version 1.9.3 that brings Google+ and YouTube support.
