Nokia and Warner Bros. have teamed to launch The Dark Knight Rises, an exclusive app for Nokia Lumia smartphones. This app would offer The Dark Knight Rises movie trailers, along with behind-the-scenes video footage and exclusive TDKR wallpapers and audio tones.

Microsoft launches Photosynth panorama app for Windows Phone

Microsoft has launched the Photosynth app for Windows Phone devices. The Photosynth app lets you capture and share interactive panoramas in a full sphere, 360 degrees horizontally and vertically. It uses core stitching and blending algorithms developed by Microsoft Research. The app was launched for iPhone last April.

Flipboard beta now available for Android

Flipboard has finally released the beta version of their Android app. It was previewed on Samsung S3 earlier this month and the app was leaked from the Galaxy S3 ROM later. Flipboard for iPhone was launched at the end of last year that recently got updated to v1.9 that brought audio support.
