Xiaomi launched Mi 11X series back in April 2021 in India. The Mi 11X series devices run Android 11 with the company’s proprietary skin – MIUI 12 on top. The Mi 11X and Mi 11X Pro are rebranded Redmi K40 and Redmi K40 Pro+, which launched back in February 2021 in China. These smartphones are available as POCO F3 and Mi 11i respectively in Global markets.
Vi (Vodafone Idea) has launched two new prepaid plans that include access to Disney+ Hotstar. The new recharge plans have different validity periods and are priced at Rs. 499 and Rs. 1,066. GTA+ is a new subscription service for Grand Theft Auto Online that will only be available on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles. Rockstar Games recently released an official blog post announcing the new GTA+ subscription service and detailing the benefits that gamers will receive. POCO launched its X4 Pro 5G smartphone in India today. This packs an 120Hz AMOLED screen, adds 5G support and has support for 67W fast charge which are upgrades from the X3 Pro, but this is powered by Snapdragon 695 SoC, so this is not a gaming-centric phone since the predecessor had a more powerful Snapdragon 860 SoC. After teasers, vivo has confirmed the launch of X Fold, a foldable phone in China on April 11th. The invite says that the X Fold will bring the foldable screen 2.0 era. Based on rumours, the vivo X Fold is expected to feature an 8-inch 120Hz screen on the inside with UTG glass. It is also said to be the first foldable phone with an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.
