Sony Xperia S announced, 4.3-inch HD display, 12MP camera and 1.5GHz dual-core processor

Sony Xperia S is the first smartphone under the Sony brand in the Xperia NXT next generation series announced at CES. It comes with 4.3 inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD Reality Display with Mobile BRAVIA Engine, 12MP camera with LED flash that can take shots in just 1.5 seconds directly from standby mode. It is powered by 1.5GHz dual-core processor and runs on  Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) that is upgradable to Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) in Q2 2012. Tizen Screenshots Leaked; Might Run On Samsung I9500 Smartphone

Tizen OS is an open-source Linux-based project developed by Samsung, Intel and the Linux Foundation. According to the rumors, Samsung is expected to announce its first Tizen based device next month at the MWC 2012 in Barcelona.

We already know that MeeGo is dead! For the unknown, the Tizen OS is the successor of the MeeGo OS. It is an open-source Linux-based project developed by Samsung, Intel, Panasonic, Vodafone, NTT DoCoMo and the Linux Foundation. According to the rumors, Samsung is expected to announce its first Tizen based device next month at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2012 in Barcelona. Nokia Lumia 900 for AT&T packs 4.3 inch display, 1830 mAh battery, LTE and Front-facing camera

Nokia and AT&T today announced the Lumia 900 which supports AT&T’s 4G LTE network. The device looks very similar to the Lumia 800 but packs a bigger screen and battery. It packs a 4.3 AMOLED CBD display and a 1830 mAh battery.There is a 8MP camera on the back with Carl Zeiss optics and there is also the front-facing camera which was missing in the 800.We are not sure if this device will be coming to other countries but Nokia is betting big on the Lumia 900 and trying to re-enter America which is one of the most competitive mobile markets in the world today. 3G toggle finally coming to the iPhone 4S , shows up on our iOS 5.1 beta 3

One thing I passionately hate about the iPhone 4S is the inability to turn 3G data off. This is annoying if you are using the device in areas where 3G coverage is not great. The phone does switch to 2G networks when 3G coverage is absent but users could not control it manually.It kills the battery also pretty fast. Some were blaming the new Qualcomm chip in the device while rest were blaming Apple for their futuristic thinking of a world with flawless 3G / HSPA coverage.  Now good news for all iPhone 4S users. In the latest developer build , the 3G network toggle has reappeared.I can confirm as you can seen in screenshots is a device running iOS 5.1 beta 3 which was released today. AT&T Unveils The Samsung Galaxy Note LTE

AT&T officially announced the much-awaited Samsung Galaxy Note at the CES 2012 in Las Vegas. AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note will be available in 2 colors – carbon blue and ceramic white.

Last year, Samsung announced the company’s first phone/tablet hybrid device, the Samsung Galaxy Note. Samsung also announced that the global sales of Galaxy Note has finally crossed the 1 million mark within 2 months of its official launch. This was definitely a great news, since the device was not yet available in the US. We have already seen the leaked pics of the AT&T Galaxy Note couple of times. HTC Titan II announced : 16 Megapixels , LTE

HTC just announced the Titan II , successor to what still remains the biggest WP7 handset to hit the market. The Titan II bumps the spec sheet by including integrated LTE connectivity. The screen size still is a massive 4.7″ at a disappointing WVGA resolution though this remains a WP7 limitation.

Sony Xperia Ion announced at CES , Coming to AT&T

AT&T has just announced the Xperia Ion at its CES keynote event. The Android smartphone sports a 4.6″ HD 720p display. The camera is a 12MP unit equipped with Sony’s proprietary Exmor R technology for better low light capabilities. 16GB of inbuilt storage will be available on the LTE equipped device.

Motorola RAZR is now receiving a OTA software update v65.1.21.en.03 (Asia Retail) while all are waiting for the ICS update. Sony Ericsson MT27i ‘Pepper’ spotted in the wild

Right on the heels of the SE Nozomi leak comes the Sony Ericsson MT27i also called the Pepper. The handset appears to be the successor the Sony Ericsson Neo. The design seems to follow a two tone color scheme featuring black and white body panels.
