Google is working on bringing VR to Chrome for Android. A report from Roadtovr says recent builds of the Chrome Beta and Chrome Dev for Android show the beginnings of VR support.

Google seems to be spending a lot of time and resources in adding features and functionality to its suite of applications that come with an Android smartphone. Rumors are floating around that Google is planning a complete visual overhaul of its Gmail application and Google Calendar application. In the meantime, Google has updated its mobile browser – Chrome for Beta with some much needed features.

Chrome for Android has been updated to version 27.0.1453.90 that brings better search that would let you view and refine your query directly in the omnibox instead of viewing just a search URL. This version also brings full screen support on phones and tab history on Android tablets that was available in the Chrome 27 beta that released last month. Chrome for Android has been updated to version 26 that brings the password and autofill Sync that was available in the Chrome Beta for Android last month. The Password sync would let you sync passwords easily, and the auto fill option lets you fill out forms quickly on a small screen. The new experimental data compression feature from the beta version is also available for the this stable version of Chrome for Android.
