A weird looking ARCHOS device passed through FCC a few days it took me a few days to understand what it really was. It looks like the first Smart cordless home phone which is running Android on it. For me it looks like a cordless phone married an Android smartphone.

Samsung Omnia Taxi follows the Nokia Lumia Taxi

Nokia has been crazily promoting it’s Lumia handsets in India under the Amazing Everyday banner and I’m sure none of you might have missed the news (Even my mom knows about it !). Nokia launched the Lumia 800 and Lumia 710 in India. Nokia had offered Taxi rides and much more to early adopters and now looks like Samsung is following Nokia’s footsteps with the launch of it’s Omnia W Smartphone in the country. DoD at Pentagon to use Android devices manufactured by Dell

There was a time when BlackBerry was the only device used by corporates and higher officials at the Pentagon and the department of defense. But now Android is replacing all these Blackberry deivces. And the same thing has happened in the Pentagon. Department of Defense (DoD) in Pentagon will be using Andrid 2.2 devices manufactured by Dell.

USPTO rejects 17 out of the 21 claims of the ‘476 patent between Oracle and Google

We all know about the patent war between Apple and all the Android manufacturers but there is another patent war going on between Oracle and Google from a long time. The United States Patents and Trademark office has given Google a great Christmas present in a final rejection of 17 of the 21 claims of the ‘476 patent, including all seven of the patent’s independent claims.

LG to roll out Android Ice Cream Sandwich update starting Q2 2012
