As promised by Nokia, the Finnish smartphone manufacturer has delivered by publishing its Nokia Maps Here Maps app on the iTunes store. We went hands on with the application to check it out and to find out if it could be a legitimate alternative to the missing Google Maps app on iOS.
Nokia HERE Maps for iPhone and iPad now available for download

Nokia announced last week that they would launch HTML5-based HERE Maps app for Android and iOS. Now the HERE Maps is available for iPhone and iPad users. This uses NAVTEQ mapping data and lets you explore and search places easily. It also offers live traffic view, public transport line, driving directions, voice navigation, option to save maps data for offline use and more.

Aircel Pocket Internet Games Card with unlimited games and 2G data launched

DisneyUTV Digital announced yesterday that they have partnered with EA Mobile to bring games for carriers and OEMs in India. Now, Aircel has launched Aircel Pocket Internet Games card in partnership with DisneyUTV and Electronic Arts (EA). This would let Aircel customers download and play any number of games and play immediately without staying connected. Firefox for Android v17.0 update brings support for devices with ARMv6 processors

Mozilla has updated their Firefox browser for Android to version 17.0 that brings support for ARMv6 phones with at least 800MHZ processor and minimum 512MB RAM. With this update, more than 500 million Android phones including popular phones such as Samsung Galaxy Pro GT-B7510, HTC Status, HTC ChaCha, Samsung Galaxy Ace, Motorola XT531, and the Motorola Fire XT can run the Firefox Browser.
