Dropbox for iPhone and iPad has been updated to version 1.5 that brings new auto media upload, up to 3GB of free space, Gallery view and more new features. The Sony Xperia Ion that was announced at CES 2012 in January would finally be available on AT&T from 24th June. The global HSPA version of the phone was announced recently. It has 4.55-inch (1280 x 720 pixels ) HD Reality display and comes with 1.5Ghz dual-core processor. Spy shots of Nokia Vertu phone running Windows Phone 8 OS has surfaced in a Chinese site bbs.ngacn.cc. Nokia today announced their plans to sell Vertu, their luxury phone division to EQT VI in Europe, so we might not see this device. Nokia has today announced its intention to acquire mobile imaging company, Scalado. As part of its plans to bolster its imaging related IP, Nokia will be acquiring all developers and technology from the company which has been working closely with Nokia for the better part of the decade.

As part of their ongoing strategic changes, Nokia just announced a major shake up in senior management along with major restructuring in terms of facilities and overheads. The biggest of these changes is going to be the 10,000 strong global job cut. Of these 3,700 employees will be from Finland which we’re hearing is about 25% of the work force based out of Finland.

Motorola Razr Maxx is now available for pre-order in India from online retailer Infibeam. The LTE version, Droid Razr Maxx for Verizon was unveiled at CES 2012 earlier this year and the 3G HSPA version was announced in April. It was priced in UKin soon after that. It comes with a 3300 mAh battery, which offers up to 17.6 hours of talk-time and 607 hours standby on a single charge. It is 8.99 mm thick and weighs 145 grams.
