LinkedIn has updated their official LinkedIn app for both the iPhone, iPad and BlackBerry 10. Even before the iOS 7 release a lot of apps got updated with iOS 7 support, including a new UI. Now the LinkedIn and Pulse apps have finally been updated with a new flatter, cleaner and more modern UI for iOS 7. LinkedIn acquired Pulse, a news reader app back in April, and this is the first major update after the acquisition. Sony Xperia C is finally available in India from online retailer Saholic. The Xperia C was announced back in June and packs a 5-inch (960 x 540 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean). Vertu unveils its new Constellation Luxury Android Smartphone
Vertu has launched yet another Android device in the luxury mobile phone segment. The phone is christened , ‘The Constellation’. It is a new entrant in the much popular constellation series. But no new name for the fresh device. Earlier this year, Vertu launched the Vertu Ti, its first android device, which we went hands on after the launch . Vertu was initially a majority property of Nokia, till it was sold to another company in 2012. Vertu was acquired in majority shares by European investment firm EQT. LG, Samsung All Set to Launch Curved Display Phones Later This Month
We’ve been hearing about flexible displays for quite a few years now but the technology was always a bit too far ahead of the curve. However, it looks like we’ll finally be seeing commercial applications of curved edge displays in smartphones. We have already brought to you a demo of LG’s curved edge television which indicates how the South Korean company has the technology in place to mass produce such panels. ZD Net earlier reported that a new LG with a concave curved display will be revealed later this month and will be called the LG Z or Z1.

Micromax Canvas Tab P650 Benchmarks
Micromax launched the Canvas Tab P650, the company’s first tablet in the Canvas series last month. We brought you the unboxing of the device earlier this week. Here we have the benchmarks of the tablet. It has a 8-inch (1024 x 768 pixels) 4:3 display, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT8389 Cortex A7 processor with PowerVR SGX544 MP2 GPU and runs on Android 4.2.1 (Jelly Bean). The Xolo tab that was also released last month had a similar 8-inch display, but it is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 200 (MSM8225Q) processor. We don’t have the Xolo Tab yet to compare it with the Canvas Tab, let’s find out how it performs with other Android tablets in various synthetic benchmark tests.

Complete specifications of the Google Nexus 5 surfaced in a leaked log file yesterday, now a new image of the phone has surfaced on Macrumors forum. The image looks like the first image that showed up in first official video from Google. This also looks similar to the short video and images that surfaced last month. Google Nexus 5 specifications detailed in leaked log file
Google Nexus 5 (LG D820) is almost confirmed via the FCC documents that surfaced few weeks back. Now Myce.com has got hold of a log file on their Nexus 5 that details the complete specifications of the upcoming Google Nexus device manufactured by LG. It would sport a 5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) full HD display, powered by a 2.3 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor and run on Android 4.4 (Kit Kat). The Nexus 5 was first spotted in the official video that surfaced earlier this month with a large camera module, the leaked log suggests that the phone would come with just a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, but it is not likely to come with OIS like the G2.
