Facebook has started notifying users in a few European countries that it won’t offer messaging service on Facebook app in two weeks, according to a recent report from The Verge. Facebook users are asked to download the Facebook Messenger app to use messaging service. First announced in August 2013, the Moto X finally made its way to Indian shores and hit retail last month. The phone uses a unique chipset that is called the X8 Mobile Computing system that allows it to be contextually aware. Powering the phone is a 1.7Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro SoC with an Adreno 320 GPU. This is paired with two separate co-processor units that are responsible for Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Contextual Awareness. These coprocessors give the Moto X its always listening capabilities that really come into life when combined with Google Now’s contextual capabilities. Zomato has undergone a major revamp that makes the popular restaurant discovery guide more social. The food directory has added a new social layer which gives users personalised recommendations. For starters, the app has now added mandatory login either with Facebook or Google account. Prior to this users could skip the login process entirely unlike now. This also means that unregistered users can no longer make use of the database to view menus or reviews when searching for a new restaurant. The COOLPIX S810c has a 16MP BSI CMOS sensor, built-in Xenon flash, 12x optical zoom, f/3.3 – f/6.3 aperture, 3.7 inch 1229k-dot widescreen, TFT LCD display and is powered by a Cortex-A9 processor. This app combines photos and videos in your Dropbox with the photos on your phone, and also automatically backs up new ones as you take them. Indian users will see a reminder message about voting on the polling day depending on once locations at the the top of their New Feed. The “I’m a Voter” button will be present next to the reminder message and both these features will be available on Facebook mobile apps on polling day.

Ranbir Kapoor, the critically acclaimed Bollywood actor slash rom-com hero, who incidentally used to be the brand ambassador for Lenovo’s PC products, will now promote the company’s smartphones too. As the company slowly moves away from its focus on PCs to Smartphones, Ranbir Kapoor too will move along to promote the Chinese company’s smartphones as well as tablets in India. The deal includes TV commercials, online advertising and so forth, which will eventually be released in some time to the Indian media.
