Samsung has just launched the successor of the popular Samsung Galaxy Grand in India as the Galaxy Grand 2. The Galaxy Grand 2 takes after the original Galaxy Grand to compete in the mid-range market. Following Samsung’s trend of having the same design language for most of its product lineup, the Galaxy Grand 2 borrows a lot of design elements from the company’s current flagship – Galaxy Note 3.

The Micromax A200 Canvas Turbo Mini surfaced last month, now @MMXNewscaster the White colored . Huawei unveiled the MediaPad 7 Youth last year, now the company has unveiled MediaPad 7 Youth2, successor of the first MediaPad Youth tablet . It has a 7 -inch (1024 x 600 pixels) 5-point multi-touch display, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snadpragon processor and runs on Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean) with Huawei’s Emotion UI 1.6 on top. It has 3G connectivity through a SIM card slot, 3-megapixel rear camera and a VGA front-facing camera.

Samsung launched the Galaxy Grand 2 (G7102), the company’s latest mid-range smartphone last month, which went on sale in India last week. We already brought you the unboxing of the smartphone, here we have the benchmarks of the device. Samsung already confirmed that the phone is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon processor, as you can see from the CPU-Z shot above it is clear that phone has a quad-core Snapdragon 400 (MSM8226) ARM Cortex-A7 processor clocked at 1.19 GHz with Adreno 305 GPU, similar to the Motorola Moto G. Last year’s Galaxy Grand was powered by a dual-core Broadcom BCM28155 processor. It has a 5.25-inch (1280 x 720 Pixels) display and runs on Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean) with Samsung’s own TouchWiz UI on top.
