Samsung develops 60GHz Wi-Fi technology to boost data transmission speed

OnePlus partners with JBL to introduce JBL E1+ Earphones

OnePlus did not announce a speaker in partnership with JBL as we expected, but it has has unveiled JBL E1+ Earphones at the event in China. The new in-ear Earphones have premium 9mm JBL drivers with PureBass technology that promises crystal clear sound, full-range frequency response. It has angled ear-tubes, multiple eartip sizes and has in-line three-button remote with microphone that lets you answer calls, skip tracks and take pictures. Samsung is all set to launch the Galaxy Note 4 in India tomorrow, October 14th, and the smartphone would be available for purchase from stores across the country starting October 17th. The Galaxy Note 4 was unveiled at IFA last month and packs a 5.7-inch (1440 x 2560 pixels) QHD Super AMOLED display, powered by a 2.7 quad-core Snapdragon 805 processor or Octa-Core Exynos processor with four Cortex-A57 clocked at 1.9GHz and four Cortex-A53 running at 1.3GHz, Mali-T760 GPU and 3GB of RAM and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) with new Samsung UI. Official IRCTC app released for Android

IRCTC Connect for Android

IRCTC has finally launched the official app for Android called IRCTC Connect. Last year IRCTC app was launched for Windows Phone 8 and Windows 8 devices developed in partnership with Microsoft and it was launched by BlackBerry for BlackBerry 10 smartphones back in August. In the current technology landscape, wearables are touted as the next big thing. It succeeds the smartphone, in one way or the other, so a lot of companies that bet on the smartphone are betting on the smartwatch too. This includes Apple, who unveiled their idea of a Smartwatch, with a focus on making tech fashionable, rather than just utility-focused. The utility is achieved with software, and that’s where platforms come in to play. Just like Smartphones, there is already a battle of ecosystems brewing, in which Google is obviously a major player. As we had explained in our Pebble review, Smartwatches are basically companion devices to our Smartphones and it actually makes sense if both of them are tied together with highly coherent software. So naturally, a Google-blessed platform will work great with Android. Enter Android Wear.
