We reviewed the OnePlus 2 smartphone earlier this week, and here are the battery test results of the smartphone. The OnePlus 2 packs a 3,300 mAh built-in Li-Po battery, slightly bigger than the OnePlus One’s 3,100 mAh battery. Even though it has the same 5.5-inch 1080p display seen in the OnePlus One, this has 1500:1 contrast ratio and has a powerful Snapdragon 810 SoC, which might affect the battery life. Airtel launches 4G LTE services in Agartala

Airtel has launched its 4G LTE services in Agartala. It launched 4G services in 296 towns across India last week, after running 4G LTE trails in the country. Airtel said that it had received great response during trail period in Shillong. Airtel 4G is available to customers across mobile phones, dongles, 4G hotspots and Wi-Fi dongles in the city. XOLO Black is the first smartphone from XOLO that is part of the Black series of smartphones that are aimed at online retail markets. Calling the series Black and the smartphone Black as well makes it quite confusing for the customer and it will become more so when it is time to launch the next phone in the Black series. That is expected to be sometime soon as the company did state that it has plans to launch around 4 devices per year. We aren’t sure what naming scheme the company plans for the upcoming devices but what we do know is what the XOLO Black offers and it seems to offer plenty judging by its specifications sheet. Kingston has introduced 512GB Class 10 UHS-I SDHC/SDXC card for cameras and camcorders. This will allow users to record more video and shoot more high-density image files without running out of space. It offers read speeds of up to 90MB/s and write speed of up to 45MB/s, similar to the 256GB UHS-I SDHC/SDXC card that was introduced last year. Lenovo launched the K3 Note in India on June 25th this year and started sales on Flipkart on July 8th via Flash sale method. The Mi 4i was launched on April 23rd this year and started sales on April 30th through Amazon, Flipkart and Snapdeal.

Micromax launched the Canvas Xpress 2, the company’s latest budget smartphone last month at a price tag of Rs. 5999. We already brought you the hands-on impressions, unboxing and the photo gallery of the smartphone, here we have its benchmarks. It is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek MT6592M processor with 8 ARM Cortex-A7 CPUs clocked at 1.36 GHz per core and Mali 450-MP4 GPU. Samsung France has accidentally made the pre-order page for the Galaxy S6 Edge+ live before it was pulled. This shows that pre-orders for the smartphone begins on August 21st in Europe. It also says that customers who pre-order the device between August 21st and September 3rd will get a free Level On Bluetooth headset, so the Galaxy S6 edge+ is expected to hit the retail shelves on September 4th. Indian smartphone shipment grows 44% in Q2, courtesy eTailers: IDC

International Data Corporation (IDC) on Tuesday published quarterly shipment data for the Asia Pacific region. As per their Quarterly Mobile Tracker for Q2 2015, India itself shipped 26.5 million smartphones this quarter, which is up by 44% from the 18.4 million units for the same period last year. BLU has launched Win JR LTE and Win HD LTE Windows 8.1 smartphones on Snapdeal in India. Both these are powered by 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 SoC. The Win JR LTE has a 4.5-inch FWVGA IPS screen and the Win HD LTE has a 5-inch HD screen based on one-glass-solution (OGS) technology. Both these have dual SIM support with support for 4G TDD LTE Bands 38 and 40 and FDD-LTE bands 3,7 and 20. ZUK Z1, the first smartphone from Lenovo-backed startup ZUK has been introduced in China. It packs a 5.5-inch 1080p display, is powered by a 2.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 SoC and runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop) with ZUI. It has aircraft-grade aluminum metal frame. The main highlight is the reversible USB 3.0 Type-C port that would offer up to 10 times faster data transfer compared to USB 2.0.
